RedSoloCup stepping down as Ingress GCM, what does this mean for AMAs?

So we often get a lot of Wayfarer and Criteria Log updates and clarifications through the AMAs. Now that RedSoloCup is stepping down, what does this mean for future AMAs?
Will they be held by the next GCM? Will the next one still be in January? With no new AMAs since Wayfarer released for Pogo players globally, and the AMA being one for the very few avenues we could use to voice our concerns, it would be nice to know if there are any future plans for them.

maybe maybe not but how about we stop arguing about it and finger pointing and try to be constructive. I have been trying to get through to people for weeks to stop arguing.
....maybe don't bring an argument to an unrelated post if you are so concerned about people arguing.
eh can we not accuse as well. I mean a month of blaming, shaming, etc I get there is abuse of the system but the comments trying to project a picture one way or the other is not what we need. It isn't pogo vs. ingress these complaints were happening with ingress long before pogo got wayfarer. People going as far as to name calling and saying words over it isn't nice or right. I don't think there will be more AMA's they were something Andrew chose to do on his own accord. Only thing we can do at the moment is share information about what niantic views as valid etc. with local communities there has been a lot of outreach already and people helping others try to learn the ropes of wayfarer. We can only do so much as an individual to help. We can't make decisions for others.
Please take your own advice.
I agree before PoGo was in the mix, we had plenty of OPR issues. Now with PoGo in the mix it seems like an easy finger to point for most agents. While the problems might have changed or expanded its not one versus the other, everyone wants a better game for all.
People forget that not everyone has access to all the data, and we also assume that the past AMAs are still valid source data for the Wayfarer platform, its never been explicitly said.
Hard to see this out of context of other cost-cutting measures being applied to Ingress. Having one guy that connected to all the players like was pretty special, and probably not scalable. We should not just assume that AMAs are going forward like before.
They were not done by niantic's directive. This was something andrew did on his own accord.
I have no idea why people think this need to be a favor! If he was doing on his own accord , nice of him , but Niantic need to hire someone to do the same! Supercell have employees discussing things in reddit and Twitter to collect players feedback and make all the changes to the game! A lot of companies do that and Niantic should do the same . Portkey do a good job with Hp community claims so why not have someone for Ingress and PoGo?
People have been saying that since pokemon go came out in my area, that niantic need someone, or a team, to listen to suggestions, address complaints and generally for dealing with the player base, and with wayfarer its needed even more since there us still so many things that can be questioned, the guidelines are far to vague on far too many things (I've seen people even argue that because it doesn't say anything about historical significance then historical things shouldnt pass)
Historical significance is right in the help section for Wayfarer. People are simply failing to read the directions.
99% expecting no new AMA's at least until there's a new GCM, which may be never.
100% no new AMAs.
They can't even port over previous ones. It's a jungle out there.
Chaos reigns, as it always does with Niantic.
The assumption that past AMA's are still valid is something that needs to be addressed. It cannot be expected of people to scour the internet searching for old outdated criteria on unofficial sources. The Wayfarer website has a specific update log as does the Niantic support page. Unless otherwise indicated or told to do so those are the only sources of information the vast majority of reviewers are now using.
Its hard to say that the AMAs are invalid at the same time because the November AMA clearly after Wayfarer should be considered valid but has yet to be added to the Wayfarer Log.
only 1 anomaly so far, its obvious the need for GCM was cutdown perhaps? so dont expect them for now maybe... until they say something..
The GCM did far more than just find POCs for anomalies. We still have the Trusted Reporter and Vanguard programs, and there are still people who have questions that need answering, press releases to put out etc.
@NianticBrian is covering a lot of it and @NianticCasey is doing the forums work, but unless we have more general Niantic staff commenting on stuff, I'd imagine people like Brian have more important things to do than answer every question.
