What phone did you use when you play Ingress?
Android phones for me, generally. Currently using a Pixel 3 XL, but I update my phone every 18 months or so.
Samsung s9 Plus
I use Samsung Galaxy S10+
Samsung Galaxy S8+. On AT&T.
Before I had a Galaxy S6+, when it was regular ol Ingress.
Samsung Galaxy s8. I love my back button, and remapped the bixby button to Zello PTT.
Asus Zenfone 3 Max
moto phone with moto mods battery means i can run ingress something like 8 hours no cords.
Asus Zenfone 5
Galaxy S10+, and still there's scroll lag...
@Korzhak I wait for @NianticMac to optimize fullscreen for S10+ front camera. Did you hope Niantic fix it in Prime for S10+ soon?
Wether my Oneplus5 or my company phone, iPhone XS. Both clients run good on both mobiles,
Pixel 2 XL
Probably upgrading to the 4XL when it releases later this year
I'm using the OG Pixel XL. Still works great for me.
I’m always running out of battery, and the phone gets super hot😢
iPhone 5, iPhone 6s, and iPhone X.
@jim831001 how is your Asus working with Ingress? I'm thinking about replacing my Zenfone 3 to 5, maybe 6. Any tips?
Nexus One, Nexus 5, Nexus 5x, Sony XZ1 Compact.
I have worst memories of Nexus 5x, because of little RAM and inferior battery.
Sony could have much better vibration, and maybe be slightly thinner.
Nexus One was so long time ago I can't remember almost anything.
I have great memories of the Nexus 5. :)
@jontebula No point in optimising for one phone screen layout, so I'm not fussed about that.
Input lag, however, shouldn't be a thing.
iPad mini 4
@frostpenguin Buy Samsung Galaxy S10+ and you have the best battery with 4100Mah. Works very good with Prime.
I use the iPhone XS Max. It's an awesome phone - really powerful. The thing that sucks, though, is Google hasn't updated the Streetview app, and every photosphere made with this phone ends up being "maps rejected". So if you're big into portal submissions and photospheres like me, it's a huge drawback.
Other than that, it's awesome.
@Patka07 Asus works well on Ingress, I use zenfone 5 and it shows smoothly enough, 5Z or 6 will be even great I think
Previously Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 5
Motorola Moto One.
Huawei Honor 9 atm
First Samsung Galxy S3 (redacted)
after Samsung Galxy S8+
now Samsung Galaxy A7
