further clarification on development signs
During OPR, city/region/apartment development signs had been signified as a 1*, unless historic/unique (falling under street signs), fast forward to wayfarer, and that no longer seems to be the case.
what's NIA Ops' current stance on city/region/apartment development signs?

Its still the same as it was, if its visually unique and interesting then accept it if its just a bog standard sign, reject it.
They simply don't meet the criteria and should be rejected. They don't need to be explicitly mentioned by Niantic, even if the ORP CAG did at one point.
Yet they're being accepted on a daily basis.
exactly my point- they used to be clearly called out, rarely submitted, and 99.999% of the time rejected..and now, every development under the sun is getting submitted again
Ignoring the pogo in the description, I'm seeing more and more of these types of estate signs being approved. This one has something interesting to it at least but I've seen and rejected signs with small logos that eventually come online. Clarity somewhere for pogo players would be nice.
Hmm a random forum post from an NIA staffer will certainly resonate around the world and single-handedly convince pogoers to stop submitting the one POI in otherwise sparse, brand new estates.
The system works!
Hahaha I just pulled up the same review. Should have recognised your username!
That would be why they were asked to post it on Wayfarer... baby steps.
Hah. I wish pogo submitters would recognise yours :P and follow your lead. Instead of the flood of coal we're seeing locally. It's like all the patient gains on TSR/OPR have gone to hell. There needs to be equal awareness to current/old opr criteria for pogo players because the current mentally is.. "oh, it says "eligible" let's stretch this out as far as we can and put no effort in and then wonder why it doesn't come online". Or yes generic estate sign is online.. thanks mass reviewers! For accepting my nondescript coal.
More accurate version of estate signs being sent with some being approved.
It’s worse than that. They are literally street signs, in stone format. There is one for every single street coming off that road. I’ve already seen one has been approved there.
We’ve been complaining about it on our faction Telegram but Ingress reviewers do not hold the majority sway anymore.
