Are survey markers still acceptable nominations?
The candidate action guide on the OPR website listed survey markers as acceptable candidates but I can find no mention of them on Wayfarer. Should these still be approved?

I will continue approving them until guidance comes out to say they are not eligible (providing that their location is verifiable).
Barring any official word to the contrary, I would say yes.
There are 3 types of survey markers in New Zealand.
One is used for regular surveying, and often just a pin.
Not seen any come up, but they aren't significant enough IMO. Often just a hundred or more, metres apart.
The other is where a survey plate, is often at the top a hill, which is pretty uncommon, and thus significant enough.
The 3rd type is an actual Trig station, when the guild of surveyors did surveying before the advent of modern survey equipment became available.
Accept these
Not sure about your country/state, as it can differ.
Having gotten the word from @RedSoloCup via a Telegram PM, he got the answer directly from NIA OPS.
ALL of those are valid, so long as they don’t violate the PRP/etc location rules. Yes, even just the ones that are uninteresting metal pucks embedded in the sidewalk.
Good to know!
Can you verify this in any way?
