Space for submitting/discussing mission submission / mission creator support issues?

We can appeal our rejected portals here, but we don't really have any means of appeal for missions beyond making changes and trying the submission again.

Would there be merit in having a space here for discussion of those kinds of issues (and the mission creator tool in general)?

@NianticScot this seems worth consideration, yes?

This would definitely be something a lot of us would find extremely helpful, it's possible to fight your way through the maze that is support, however there is no direct route to discuss your exact issue in regards to missions and banners. Top idea @jkg5150 and thanks for considering this @nianticscott it will really help agent's that have struggled with having missions and banners accepted, knowing there is a place to discuss them and will encourage them to submit more rather than giving up after the whole ordeal of trying to sub their first one.

I suspect they just didn't like the idea of a picture of a person? In any case, the rejection email is vague enough that you can't know for sure what the issue was.

  • The MissionProject group has been trying to help reform the mission approval process for a while now, but so far not much has been settled. Similar to portal submissions, the emails for mission submission rejections give only vague reasons for why the mission was not accepted. Until we can know why a mission was not accepted, it’s hard to make better missions. It’s seemingly random which will be approved or not, sometimes the exact same picture and description will be accepted by 1 reviewer and rejected by another.
