Will there be a way to flag or identify players who constantly submit bad nominations? Maybe there could be something added to the abuse section when it's been 1 starred and after a few of those that person could receive a nomination cooldown or something?
Are there any plans to revamp or add to the avatar creator for agents profiles? The designs and colors are kinda meh and could use a touch of prime redesign.
And one more question, when at least approximately will the submission of applications for Mission day events open?
Could you provide a generalized timeline, or even listing of things the team is working on? The community has received several requests for ideas to improve Ingress. Now, I would like to hear back from the people actually making the game what they are working on, and when some of our ideas could be implemented. With the Prime anomaly series, it was clear that Ingress Prime was the priority, we also had all of the events of that anomaly cycle well in advance. We're half way through Nemesis and things are starting to fall off again like 2016/2017. Star Wars battlefront 2 provides a monthly calendar of events for players every month. Has that been thought of, to have one place to remind people what's happening?
When will you bring back the Ingress Report?
Prime venia a no permitir más trampa en el juego. Los voladores son cada vez más. Harán algo al respecto??? El juego perdió el sentido si hacen trampa...
Couple of queries
II. Game Related:
1. If a feature where unique portals can have a distinct glow be introduced in Prime. Would help and motivate people on Working towards their unique badge.
2. Any AP incentive for Reviewers or InGame currency for every set number of agreements?
All other InGame activity awards AP and the medal, can this one too?
Any timeplan when the North indication for placing resonators will be implemented in Prime? That is missing compared to [REDACTED].
Hi Andrew. I hope you are fine.
We are not very sure about the 7th year badge's level for any Recursed player. Will they be able to get it like they are L16 even though they haven't reached L16 again or do they need to reach to that level again?
Is it possible to add a language selection to ingress Prime as it was in redacted? Some agents would prefer to use it in English.
What are your thoughts on this @RedSoloCup??
at this moment the position for new portals is that the property owner opts in as default. As far as I know there are no special checks in OPR or by niantic if property owner or property management actually consents to having a portal that can draw visitors to the site. Property owners actively have to opt out to get portals removed. With the recent court case settlement in the US can you comment if this current concept of automatic consent will be reviewed by niantic?
How is Niantic/Ingress Team dealing with or planning to address the significant player exodus caused by Prime (this may be a complicated perfect storm, but I can see it in my local play area where there’s just less action out there)
Is there a way to bring back the motivational conflict? And the adventure driven and simple elegance of redacted play? ( see the 8bit version)
@RedSoloCup and @GearGlider and everyone, I got a question for you all!!!
When the release dates for the Beta version of "Ingress Prime" is coming out with Triple AP Points and a new design yearly badge?
is there any plans to make it easier to connect to players using via our profilers? It was pretty useful to have google plus on our profiles to connect with new players.
Are images that clearly show the candidate, but is shot at nighttime and thus surroundings might be less prominent acceptable?
Do Urban trail markers make good portals on the same level as the ones on trails? Some examples:
These questions have come up in the community for us regarding OPR, would be great if you could help clarify.
1. For a populated country like India, if unrecognizable Faces are found in the submitted candidate can we accept such Submissions?
e.g: Large Famous Temples where there is always a large gathering.
2. For a populated country like India, if undistinguishable license plates are visible in the submitted candidate accidentally can we accept such Submissions?
e.g: many two wheeler often get parked outside parks or temples and it sometimes becomes impossible to take a photo of the sign board and the surrounding without having a few vehicles come into the field of view.
3. Many well known smart phone Companies have an automatic Water Marks on their photos. Few Submissions which have only the phone model of brand name as watermarks, where the submitter is non identifiable. Can we accept these? Do we have leniency in such rural Submissions?
For e.g: Watermarks like "Shot on OnePlus", "Shot on PoCo".
4. How are we defining a rural setup, how much portal density would we consider it to be rural, thus showing liniency in OPR in such areas.
e.g: Do 10 portals in a 5km radius count as rural?
5. Submissions made while in a vehicle, if the photo is clear and is a valid portal. Can we accept such Submissions? (This can help in rural submissions)
e.g: The Submission seems perfect but the car dashboard is slightly visible in the bottom right. As long as the Submission and the details are correct and the portal is valid, can we not accept these portals?
Has there been any movement on the plan to tag wayspots on a per game basis to allow removal within one game without necessarily affecting the others?
I feel, Portal photos are too small in Prime scanners. Those are more precious than Niantic think. Agents have been submitted photos with some effort. And it used to be a slight but unwavering fun to find its original object on my unfamiliar roads.
In 2018 year medal OPR Live was presented. During this time, only a few events where could get this medal. On anomalies Myriad and Umbra did not have this event. Onyx needs to participate in this event 20 times. What is the fate of this medal?
When and where will the 2020 Q1Q2 anomaly events be held? Everyone is looking forward to the announcement.
Do you have a favorite portal? If so, could you share where and why?
How are various other entities within the world of Ingress handling the developments surrounding Nemesis, such as the inner workings of the NIA since Calvin's departure, the private Corporations such as Hulong and IQTech and the Magnus societies led by Jahan and Azmati Prime? We haven't really seen any developments in the world about what Nemesis has done to it. I'd like to believe that the fight against Nemesis is far more than just Agents + whatever's left of the Osiris NIA.
Also...the Dunraven Foundation. It was created as a collective of shell companies to help ADA make the Dunraven Chambers-in other words, it's not a real foundation. What would happen if someone....hypothetically...wanted to make Dunraven a real organization in the world of Ingress? How could someone go about accomplishing this?
What happened to pins NL event in Turkey? Is there any news? When will we get our pins?
from MSZ21: With the upcoming release of Wayfarer to Pokemon Go players by the end of this year, do we see a change in feedback from the Ingress AMA's to a specific medium or AMA where only Wayfarer related questions are posed?
Se podría activar el registro de mods y hacks de los portales en el Intel? Muchos jugadores fraudulentos aprovechan que no hay registro de esas acciones.
Have you ever thought about adding the question "What is it?" to the submissions in the game?
This could help in Wayfarer to solve the candidates more quickly and release the queue a little
Are there any plans for more “official” ingress mercy besides the nemesis/anomaly themed stickers, shirts, hoodies, and beanies we’ve seen recently or is this the norm we should expect from here out?
From MSZ21: With the upcoming amount of new reviewers, do we see a further expansion on rewards for reviewing candidates? Upgrades was an amazing update to the system and things like a secondary bonus location or 1 additional submission for every 300 agreements or some other new rewards would be something that incentivizes to encourage reviewers to keep reviewing.
