With pogo players now doing submissions and nominations. How do you think the dynamics of this group will change ?
I'm guessing they will also have access at some point if not already.
Do you think it will become much more pogo oriented and ingress will become obsolete?

Nothing will change much. On a good side, we're giving the agents a bit of relaxing time from doing OPR/Wayfarer.
There are agents who came from PoGo who educates their fellow trainers on the guidelines, so I think that's a good improvement.
As for will Ingress become obsolete, everything does...eventually. But we're still here. :)
But do we think niantic has accelerated the process?
With so many losses due to prime and a faulty wayfarer I could see the end sooner than later unless niantic find a new reason to keep playing ingress.
Yes, since Ingress became a version of Pokemon Go when original client was replaced by Prime.
I think Ingress will be a little shadow on the view of the Niantic.
Niantic does not pay attention to all community from their games, but Pokemon Go give to them more money, and so that is a reason to put it in the top of priorities, after politic changes in the Ingress (paid anomalies, selling XMP, fee).
Focus is money, and Pokemon Go Players will help to brutally increase the POI network to expansion of the games.
This is the Ingress Community forum, not the Niantic community forum. It's ingress-specific in most of its categories. Pogo has no place here.
There are always gonna be supporters and oppositions on this matter. But I for one, has stopped doing OPR after wayfarer started. I guess I will pick up again someday, but I don't see the need for it now. Not even for badges.
So if this is just ingress will this mean that Wayfarer discussion board will closed?
I know you are saying of course not. But now pogo have access what is its relevance if pogo plays cant see it? They will be the majority vote.

Dont you think it would make more sence for niantic to open it up to everyone wayfarer is for both platforms now not just ingress like opr was.
No. This is an Ingress forum, not a Niantic’s Games forum. Wayfarer is a small part of Ingress, as a result there is a chat built for it, here.

I didn't ask any wayfarer questions myself for the November AMA. I thought there some good ones asked and they covered what I would have asked myself.
Then all the pogo players would have access to this forum, and it would no longer be an Ingress forum. If there is to be a true cross platform Wayfarer chat, it needs to be built somewhere else. Otherwise they’d need to built yet another forum for Ingress, so as to have an Ingress specific chat. I’m sure there’s a discord somewhere for that exact purpose.
Well there does need to be more of a cross over as pogo players are going to be the majority vote once they have reviewing.
The majority vote? Everyone is following the same guidelines. I understand your argument that an overarching Wayfarer chat could be beneficial, but this is not the correct forum for that. That belongs somewhere else. Somewhere not pogo specific, and not Ingress specific.
Well this at the moment is the only platform for this to be discussed in that niantic actively have input in etc. And when I say pogo will be the majority vote in wayfarer I mean exactly that. We all know there are a lot of ingress players who cant cope with change and have stopped playing and reviewing as a result. Pogo players haven't had the opportunity to do nominations or subs and there are probably 20 lvl 40 players to every 1 ingress player. If not more
Ok, but this is an Ingress forum. Why do you not understand that this is not a Niantic’s Games forum, but an Ingress specific forum? The Wayfarer chat here is for Ingress players to discuss Wayfarer, not for everyone to discuss Wayfarer. What part of “Ingress Forum” do you not understand.

I think what you still fail to understand is that if pogo players cant ask questions etc that are relevant to WAYFARER like I said then they will just approve what they want with no regards to what niantic want. But if you cant see that then I guess I'm I'm waisting my time.
There are a significant amount of ingress players who also play pogo. Many pogo players who were very interested in creating poi's interest downloaded ingress and leveled to level 10 and level 12. There are some who have low level accounts to at least try out ingress and therefore are able to log in. Your fellow pogo aren't as incompetent as you would like to believe.
There's a separate thread, November AMA closed already???, where Krug said they were considering a dedicated AMA for Wayfarer. If that happens there may be a way for people who only play pogo to ask questions. Please be a little bit more patient with respect to wayfarer.
To suggest that this forum which is dedicated to ingress become a pogo forum was probably not the correct way to start a discussion. You probably should have asked just asked in the wayfarer section If all users of wayfarer will have a way to ask questions concerning wayfarer direct to Niantic.
I didnt suggest it becoming a pogo forum more of a joint forum that has a pogo and ingress side
There are other pokemongo websites and forums.
