AMA Challenge: How much interest/demand is there for a Media Locker?

In the latest AMA Andrew mentioned that there had been discussion about creating a "Media Locker" but it wasn't a priority. He also mentioned that if there was demand it could come sooner rather than later. What is a Media Locker? A Media Locker would be similar to a Key Locker, a paid item available in the store that could hold up to 100 media items without counting them toward your inventory.
I'd also like to put out the desire for a possible CM Locker that could hold up to 100 Beacons and Frackers without counting them against your inventory.
Like or comment if this is something that would interest you and you would like to see Niantic pursue it on a faster timetable.

It would be lovely if paid items didn't count against inventory cap.
But it would be so nice not to have to instantly delete media.
Beacons and frackers do not count already (and the keylockers).
Unless they changed something keylockers absolutely do count against your inventory.
I would buy them both. If the price is reasonable. Not more expensive then the key lockers.
Definitely would like media lockers, they would not affect gameplay and add another dimension to collecting and swapping lore related things. Plus, it might help make money.
Would buy the CM locker. Wouldn't buy the media one, I don't care for media, they are an instant delete for me (except when they are required for anomalies, but that just means they get deleted afterwards)
Being able to hold them in a capsule during anomaly would make transporting and sorting them easier though
Regular capsules already serve that purpose for me
I would also appreciate this, having 100-200 "Free" spots that aren't counted for media or frackers because the game is moving more towards doing more stuff with media.
I’d like the ability to put frackers and beacons inside a capsule. Just designate them as VR so they don’t replicate. I don’t like having them in open inventory or I might use them by accident.
Do what 99% of players do here delete the media and watch it all on youtube saves space and stops the game turning into pogo
Yes to both. A 50 or 100 slot fracker locker especially. I'm always filling up my inventory when using those bad boys so I'd pay to not worry about space when buying a 25 pack
Media locker? Not so much.
But if they put a feature on tourist key locker (only one key is allowed and it has to be outside your current home location/country), and I am all in. ^_^

I believe that in a previous AMA someone suggested a special locker for souvenir keys, where iirc the idea was that you can store an unlimited amount of keys but you can't take them out. I would personally enjoy something like that more than a media locker.
Not being able to take keys out would mean not seeing who owned the portal, it's full stats or any of the additional photos on the portal and the ability to this up or down.
I would use a media locker. That would keep it from being the first thing on the chopping block when I need space, too.

I want a media locker. I would buy it. Although, I can understand why one would not want to put a rush on this. I have been playing the game for about 6 months or so, I have never recycled or dropped media, and I only have 24 media in my scanner. So, my accumulation rate on media is slow. But, going forward, I could foresee a time where I would have to either recycle some media or dedicate a huge amount of my inventory to keeping them. So I would buy a media locker.
Although I would like it to function differently from key lockers. With key lockers, once a key is in the locker, you can't interact with it normally until you take it out. But, if I put media in a media locker, then I would like to interact with that media while it's still inside the locker.
As for a beacon locker, I don't buy beacons, so I wouldn't buy a beacon locker. Frackers are more enticing, but they are one use for 10 minutes worth of loot. I worry that this would make frackers too awesome to use. So I don't buy frackers. Therefore, I have no need for a fracker locker.
Exactly this! I love the agent-designed media but I can't keep it, that's such a shame.
I am currently up to 22 Toasts in my Quantum Capsule named "Toaster". I am down for a Media Locker.
