Not upgraded nomination “in voting” and upgraded nomination “in queue”?

How does that work? Can I just have one “in voting” nomination at the time? Also, aren’t all nominations supposed to be reviewed at the same time? Does the “in queue” status means that a nomination is actually pending and nobody is reviewing it?

Thank you for clarifying.

I currently have five nominations in the voting phase, so it's definitely not limited to one. Hard to say how it works, though.

This is merely based on telegram reports of what the local reviewers are seeing, so take it with a grain of salt. But it seems that if you submit several wayspots in the same area, they are gated in some way. Only one appears for voting, the rest stay in queue until that one gets a verdict. Upgrading doesn't seem to override that, so using them on queued nominations might be a waste.

Well, actually the two nominations I’m referring to are a few hundred meters apart, so you are probably right. My concern is that my upgrade will take forever since it has to wait the outcome of the non-upgraded nomination.

  • I recent applied an upgrade to something that was very close to another thing in review. The upgraded submission quickly switching to in voting and was approved in two days.

  • Does the “in queue” status means that a nomination is actually pending and nobody is reviewing it? - Yes.
