Level Restrictions and Features
Please provide a list of profile levels available for this site and what features will be newly available for each. Also, it would be helpful to know what we can do to increase our level, or gain a badge, though I assume "Likes" has something to do with this.

I received this insightful answer just a moment ago from @InvestigateXM on a different thread. Hope it helps to answer some questions.
"@jplolo That is correct. As of now "likes" and "insightful" will gain you one point for every person that tapped it under your post. If you reach 50 points you'll be promoted to L2, 100 points to L3 and an unknown requirement for L4 and L5. You can also gain badges, but as of now they have to be assigned by Niantic, like the Investigator badge, which will grant you 10 points."
When are you able to link?
@docwho2100 some sources tell me there are work-arounds and that it may not be level based. Experimenting with posting saved drafts and logging out and back in have proven successful. Also, day two members may have more permissions.
At lvl2 I can send link or pictures
Community seems restrictive, especially to new members. Not going to get many unique insightful or likable posts without being able to post pictures and/or links.
Are reposts/spam/abuse negative points?
And if so, do you lose a level if your likes go down?
We (i.e. at the Japanese version) found that L4 is at 500pts, so it seems that NIA has opted Vanilla’s default threshold.
So, L5 is probably at 1000pts.
@XQlusioN A member who had to have multiple spam posts removed said their points went down. I am not sure if it's because they lost the points given on those posts, or because they had to be flagged/removed.
