Falsely Denied Trailhead POI
Thanks for including the reasoning behind my collectively given 1*, which states that it is a generic business or restaurant and it is obvious that it is not either of those but a stone structure at the beginning of a trail that clearly states for bicycles and pedestrians only, which says to me that the “locals” are just denying for whatever reason and not actually voting correctly. I will attach the pictures and you can tell me what y’all think. I guess getting out of your car would be too much to ask for, so why not just deny it...

Honestly looks like you're the victim of people only taking 20 seconds per review and jumping to wrong conclusions. That sign isn't exactly a trail marker or trailhead, by usual looks of them. It looks way more professionally produced by a corporation.
Duke Farms is so massive I couldn't find where you would've placed that to provide any further insight. In the future submission statements/description I would definitely include some info about the trail.
I gave the needed info for this trail, which on google maps shows conservation lane, in the extra/last field when I submitted the nomination. You can also see on google maps pic I provided the green lines and dotted lines, those or bike paths. But like you said, and I agree with that part, reviewers are not taking the time to review honestly and do a little research and as I submit this again I will add more info into it, knowing damn well that it will be denied a few more times before it finally goes through
Man that location is killing you too. Right off the highway with no parking areas (it's a wide shoulder). I would almost reject that JUST for safety to keep people from using it as a driveby POI.
If you resubmitted, I would move it as far off the highway as possible, and again provide some info about the trail it's an entrance to.
Given that the top reason was for the title/description, it would probably be useful if you could post that too if you want feedback from us. Wayfarer has all the details you submitted in the nominations list, including the supporting statement.
Edit: Duh, sorry. Title and description were in the rejection email. My bad.
Have to be honest, the image makes it look like it's a sign for a farm, nothing more.
To be honest it looks like a nature preserve but I think people could actually see that it is an entrance of some sort. Looks like they just mashed 1* as it didn't line up with what they thought it should be. So instead of giving you the benefit of the doubt they said 1* private residence/farm.
I think it's because your description is for the stones at the gate and not the trail itself
I didn't even read the description. He's right. It definitely needs to be for the trail info, not the stone wall.
There's a pedestrian pathway along the highway, there's the main parking lot 1/4 mile away where you can park, and the pin for the POI was placed 40m away from the highway. It was resubmitted and someone moved my pin closer to the road...
And i was given a warning because....???
Language, I think. We aren't allowed to curse. I don't know why the censors don't block those and other offensive words but we can't say b u t t
Nobody on OPR/Wayfarer would've seen another reviewer's movement on the mark, so I'm not sure what you're basing that on.
Also, it's been a long time since I originally looked, but the "pedestrian walkway" by the highway is just the shoulder. That said, it's a good POI, but I'd mark it as far into the path as possible rather than by the road before people wreck playing while driving.
