Portal edit reviews should count towards upgrades
I believe that we should get some credit for reviewing edits when there are so many. What if edit agreements count towards our upgrades but not towards Recon agreements and not affect our Wayfarer Rating? It would just be a small reward for correctly reviewing an edit.

I have some good news for you: they do
Haha that was exactly my thought when I read the title.
Back when upgrades first came out I tracked upgrades and accepted/rejected stats from OPR. The upgrade counter would occasionally tick up without an agreement on the stats. Only way I could account for it is that an edit was approved.
Well then, my bad. I was told that they didn't.
That would be because Niantic says that they don’t. But community consensus is that they must in order to explain upgrade/acceptance discrepancies.
When the upgrade feature was released, there were pretty much only edits to be reviewed and I remember getting upgrade points anyways.
The only other thing I can think of (if it isn’t edits counting towards upgrades) is that duplicates maybe don’t count towards agreements but do count towards upgrades.
We can see in the Nominations list that Duplicates are classified separately to ‘Accepted’ and ‘Rejected’. Are we 100% sure that Duplicates count towards the Accepted/Rejected stats?
