Bottom glyph node not registering

Sometimes the bottom glyph node doesn't register if I do a glyph from left to right, and it will simply connect the preceding and succeeding nodes.

It also seems to affect particular glyphs more than others - usually it's human, self, discover or contemplate. If I click redo and start on the same node, the problem will repeat. But if I start on a different node, and do the glyph reversed to how I normally would, it will usually work.

There's not a dead spot on your touchscreen

  • No, there's not. It works for most glyphs, many of which trace the same lines as the ones I've mentioned above. And others have reported a similar issue when I've whined about it to them.

Sorry for my skepticism, I spent an hour today glyphing level 8 portals and never had this happen.

  • I think I'm 30ish times black for translator now... so I know when something is and isn't right when it comes to glyphing.

You have 1,500,000 glyph points? That's the equivalent of 100,000 perfect level 8 Glyphs.

  • I presume you start your glyph to the side of the opposite direction of travel? So if the glyph was a horizontal line and your finger would go from left to right, you would start with your finger to the left of the first point? I only get that (and got it on redacted) when I try to hit the first point and then move to the next, forgetting to start from the side.

I have found the bottom dot easy to miss by accident and the middle dot easy to catch by accident. I don't think there's a problem as such, but I think maybe glyph hacking would be easier if they slightly expanded the hitboxes for the outer dots and reduced the hitbox for the central dot.

  • Not a problem here, all screen works correct.
