Anomaly recharging nightmare
Recharging for an anomaly yesterday, with the semi predictable expectation of Prime crashing every half hour to 3/4.
The amount of activity on screen to quickly switch between portals made it nearly impossible to determine if a portal is a volatile, Link target or something else.
This coupled with the already, highly reported from previous anomalies where the zooming function follows a weird "S" path meant that visibility was severely diminished.
Ordinarily, this isn't much of an issue to me, but others in my city have motion sickness because of this.
@NianticBrian the fix is actually quite simple, change the bezier spline path of the camera zoom to a straight line.
Just like it was with Redacted.
As this is was changed to be able to see the field umbra from fully zooming in, which is cool, in Prime.
It severely affects gameplay.
Because of the coupled spline path of the camera in Unity3D no code change is required, and takes less than 5 minutes to fix this, to be inline with player usability

Also,
The Re-rendering of recent links and fields as you hop between portal keys of the anomaly site is completely unnecessary
Also recharged, and not just me but several others would be interrupted from all actions for the game to sit and force load all the actions being done on the ground; basically the game would halt to show us resos being deployed, Shields, Links made, fields made, and people bursting.
I can't think of any good reason to see those actions remotely let alone the tax on our batteries, our system, and our data.
Enjoy the lightshow screenshots below;
During all of these, and I have boatloads, for a thirty seconds I wasn't allowed to play the game.
This is silly.
Also the game still crashes like clockwork at 30 minutes.

@argenex that last one would make a great wallpaper.
