Lock in OPR for 4 hours-for no apparent reason!
"A cooldown has been activated.
We have detected some anomalies in your review behavior. As you are reviewing each nomination, please consider each question carefully to avoid falling into voting patterns. Use of shortcuts or pre-canned responses should also be avoided. You will be eligible to resume reviewing nominations after approximately 4 hours."
Why did this message appear? I've been at OPR for a long time. I very quickly do assessment of and click candidates. I'm fast and accurate. Maybe a little wrong... But this message is absolutely not justified!

nothing you did the system apparently is bugged a lot of us got slapped with a cooldown even when not using any tools or precanned answers.
Thank you, I hope this will be fixed soon.
I've never once received a cooldown before in over 60k reviews. Hit one today while reviewing on mobile. I was going pretty quick but nothing too strange and none of my OPR tools to speed things up or cause too-similar votes.
The four hours go by and I jump back in, take a few extra seconds on each and vary my votes a bit more and tag the object whenever possible. After about 50 with 2 "are you a robot?" checks I come to a very obvious dupe. Photo is identical, title is identical, location is nearly the same. So I mark it as a dupe. Aaaand cooldown.
It might be me voting poorly, but I suspect that there's more to it.
I came to a conclusion. It's a bug! Because really, the applications are all very similar and my answer accordingly too. Niantic managers need to deal with the problem. This makes it impossible to quickly and efficiently get an OPR medal.
There is probably an upper limit to how many you can review in a set period of time as an anti-bot measure. Take look at when you start and how many things you can review. It's not a bad thing if that's the case. I've reviewed 22 since waypoint went live. I don't use any tools. I usually take it slow.
And it needs to be turned off if they can't trust agents to vote honest how about they do it right the first time. I can't help I got 20 gazebos/pavilions tonight in a stack of 30-40 clearly it is broken. I am not even giving generic answers. If they don't want the top 1% voting tell us please. /s I clearly think it is a bug and it is being widely reported agents are getting a cool down. But seriously they turned the bot detection system way too high if they think limiting the amount we vote is going to work.
What was strange was the lack of Captcha - just straight cooldown. I believe it's fixed now, as I have seen Captchas again.
I just got a cooldown after 30 or so reviews. I did not get a single captcha before I got the cooldown after marking an obvious duplicate as such
For the first time in my entire time reviewing (over a year) I got the Cooldown. No captcha, straight CD. Many people of my community are also getting it. It seems either the system is too sensitive or it’s triggered by speed.
Es todo raro lo que ha pasado, yo tenia un rayo de mejora con el anterior OPR, ahora ese rayo no se encuentra y la solicitud pendiente no aparece en mis Propuestas 😕
In the previous version of opr, an improvement was available and in the updated version the request that received the improvement is no longer available ..... will it be solved or left in limbo again?
I am at #3! This is a joke. Clearly they don't want us voting if actually filling out everything and giving honest answers triggers a cooldown they don't deserve our time.
nope just got a captcha and straight to cooldown. System needs to not account for speed as much if they are accusing agents of not taking enough time to vote.
Few days later, this is still a major problem. It's like they don't want people to review.
Waiting too long, need to improve space
Well they have changed it again back to 24 hour cool downs are back maybe they went back to the old cool down trigger criteria.
I got a rare one! "Approximately 4 hours" it said just now.
I got 4 hours last night, said "ok, whatever, I'm going to bed soon." I go to sleep, wake up in the morning and find this now.
> Something terrible has happened.
Back to previous page
Had that the other night too after a 4 hour cool down and it became a 24 hour cool down.
I hope Niantic fix it soon with Warfarer. I know i follow critera bit i get 4 houers cool down know when i test 20-30 nominations with random ratings.
100% bug now! @RedSoloCup
probably because you deny playgrounds
100% bug now. If we reward to fast the system think we cheating. I hope Niantic fix the bug soon.
You shouldn't be testing with random ratings. Someone took the time to travel there and submit. You should respect that.
I strongly recommend really reviewing the entire submission carefully.
This is getting ridiculous. I review every item individually, I don't use any bots or tools, my reviewer rating has been great/green almost the entire time I've had access to OPR (since launch). I never got a cooldown before wayfarer was launched.
I just got my 2nd 4 hour cooldown of the day, at least my 4th since wayfarer was launched. Do they even want us to review wayspots or nah?
I can't remember my exact time of a 4 hour cool down last night, but I believe I am at 26 hours now and it still gives me the same message "Something terrible has happened." I still have a "Great" rating
It's now past midnight, so I know for a fact that it's been over 24 hours and still getting that same message. Worse part is, I'm at about 85% for my upgrade. I wanted to vote tonight to make that 100 number.
I'm in the same boat. Never received a cooldown in OPR, green rating,, now I've gotten 4 or 5 of the four hour cooldowns in the last few days.
Fix this please!
I also just got my very first cooldown, after almost 20,000 reviews. It's gotta be a bug. I've always averaged between 30-60 seconds per review. Nothing has changed. *does crotch chop motion toward Wayfarer* more like waydumber
I'm at about 37 hours now and still getting that same "Something terrible has happened" message. Is there a way I can report this to them? They might not even be aware that there's a problem.
On a more positive note, I at least got my upgrade lol.
