Exogenous creatures - when will they finally appear in the game?
In pokemon go, players meet and catch pokemon, and in Harry Potter they fight and catch magical creatures. Dear Niantic, It was said about exogenous creatures from the very beginning of the game plot. When finally and in our game will exogenous creatures appear that will guard the portals, attack the opponent’s agents, and diversify the game process in every way?

They won't. They are exogenous after all.
Hopefully never. If I want a vaguely location related roulette wheel with added minigames then I'll play Pogo or the wizard thing. Ingress, mercifully, isn't random.
The roulette wheel is pressing the hack button.
I dunno, maybe if they’re some sort of alien symbiote that has come through the portals that can give you different attributes or abilities as long as you pick up enough XM or feed them enough enemy portal energies, or even maybe encase portals in an extra lvl of shielding like a cocoon, or consume some portion of your XMP fire. Or maybe ones that grow in power with your lvl or certain game actions. Maybe you accidentally pull one through a portal occasionally while you’re hacking, but you can only have one at a. time?
Pokemon Go mechanics should not be used as a comparison. The player-versus-environment nature of that game is fundamentally different than Ingress and should remain fundamentally different. More to the point, Ingress should stay player-versus-player / faction-versus-faction.
It would be awesome for Niantic to find a way to give us something to do between portals that isn't just recharging remote portals / managing my entirely too damn many keys. Pokemon Go, Orna, other engaging games do have that aspect... I'm just not sure how to smoothly introduce it into a player-versus-player game.
I am definitely not into Ingress being turned into a re-skinning of PoGo in any manner, even as simple as finding and catching creatures.
As far as Exogenous creatures being finally up to display, just look at how the community has responded, and will respond to all of the Nemesis villains. Literally multiple threads about how they look ridiculous and cartoony. I actually like the Nemesis villains (unpopular opinion apparently) and given that they are from a different universe/dimension whatever, I expect them to look funky to our perception of what is “Normal”.
I don’t really think, that this one should be applied.
Ingress - is not from that kind of games like PoGo or HPWU. This one is really another.
Here we already enough with having 4xAegis shields on the portal and hardness of removing them. Portals are already attack opposite agent on a hack or XMP Burster or Ultra Strike usage. There is no need to make it much more complex and not fun.
I thought it would be cool if Recursed Agents could leave a Simulacra of themselves behind on a portal as an extra layer of protection that had to be destroyed before any resonators start taking damage from xmps.
Simon-Says style glyph battles against exogenous entities and Simulacra of recursed Agents. Repeat the pattern and add 1 more until someone screws up and loses.
Was that creature from Ingress Prime? and is that the tributes of every HALLOWEEN movies?
And it looks like the tributes of Pokémon GO! and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Ghostbusters World?
Exogenouus creatures: no.
Some sort of álbum ir dossiê of important people o the lore, maybe.
What I really want is dark portals (kind how team rocket is working).
The only way exo works is if it is a parasite that eats resources. same rarity as Aegis and Jarvis and only be found at 8s and masks as a L8 reso.
It would eat random resources at the rate of one piece of inventory per check point or hour scanner is on.
If it gets used on a portal, Parasite is "Stuck" there until the portal becomes an 8. Broken or no?
I want none of that.
If I wanted new elements in my game, I already have pogo.
Why not putting it as a portal marker that gets consumed after 3 portal counter attacks?
Agent stroke will lose 100% of their XM reserves (this does not include Lawson).
Yep, add exogenous creatures, the R-team, dark-xm-arts and stuff. People just have no enough reasons to quit Ingress :)
i hope never.
If they try to turn this into PoGo they're going to alienate a large portion of the playerbase. I can get behind having ghost jellyfish for shards or something, but not critters everywhere I have to fight.
W.t.f. would need this nonsense?
They definitely should add ebublio spell :)
Here’s your exogenous
Hopefully never.
Ingress is not about battling random critters.
