Even after you take down opponent fields, you are unable to link unless those ghost fields disappear from the UI, even if they don’t exist on the server.
Someone in my community reported a workaround. Restart prime and try to make a link that crosses the links in the ghost field before the fields come up.
There was a ghost green link between neutral portals.
I tried to make it disappear. I captured these portals and used Jarvis on them. So ghost green link was between green portals again. Then I destroyed them. Didn't help.
Another time there was a ghost green field between neutral portals
I tried to make it disappear again. I captured these portals, made blue field over ghost field, using ghost field ankers. Then I used Jarvis on them. Blue field was destroyed and ghost green field appeared between green portals. Then I destroyed them. Didn't help either.

Same issue here.
The green fields are nearly 24 hours down. You can link from the outside crossing the links into it but not under the green or blue fields.
workaround was to make links with redacted. now what?

Issue still needs to be fixed though.
