How to reject when streetview/Photosphere is missing.

Hi peeps,

Im pretty sure theres probably already an answer floating arround here somewhere but just searching photo or photosphere arround here doesnt really have the desired outcome, so:

What do i say when i wanna reject a portal because its not visible on streetview and theres also no 360 photo? If you file it either under Location OR Photo in OPR you cant select "cant see if its really there".

I was told often when i was only submitting portals that outdated streetview and missing 360 photos were a reason to reject. Now that im reviewing myself i can see why, but i dont know what to file it under..

Thanks in advance.

  • Lots of places do not have Streetview, and we can't make 360 a requirement. Does the nomination as whole seem legit? It's really about the credibility established on the nomination as a whole.

The supporting photo has also addressed this issue helping to show where the POI sit in regards to it's surroundings and other visual markers

Photo spheres are great and will increase the speed and likelihood of a submissions being accepted but often they arnt time feasible

  • Prime fixed this issue by adding the supporting photo section.

If you cant see the location on satelite, but common sense indicates that its going to be there in real life, give it 3* for location and access.

if you cant verify it at all then 1* It under does not meet criteria and Write your reason in the box
