Problem with editing portals in Ingress Prime
I play only Prime and I, as lots of us, was waiting for portal editing to occure. Once it happenned, I started sending edits right away! And lots of them were accepted, but that didn't change anything in the game.
- I edited a porlal's name in my village, as it was called "...in Zagościniec", while it actually is "...in Lipinki". They accepted the change, it didn't happen, so I sent the edit once again, it once again was accepted, but nothing changed.
- I sent a location change of a portal that someone took to their house, while it actually was by the road. They accepted, but nothing happened.
- Several other portal movements - accepted, but nothing changed.
Do You have similar problems, or is it just me?

When you said it's accepted, do you mean your portal edits are submitted, or do you mean your portal edits have been accepted, after going through OPR?
Portal edits submission are similar to portal nominations. There will be the first email to confirm it has been submitted, then there will be a second email to confirm it has been accepted or rejected.
Ofcourse it is the second mail that sais it is accepted. But nothing changes on the map.
One thing to understand is that all edits on a portal are reviewed at once, not edits in isolation. So if a portal has a title edit, a description edit and a location edit, and you also submitted an edit in any of these categories, you will receive a mail if any of these edits were approved. It might not be your specific edit though that was applied.
The mail you receive looks like this:
Thanks for submitting an Ingress Portal edit suggestion; our player community reviewed all Agents’ proposed edits for this Portal (including yours) and we have implemented those that improve its overall quality.
Specifically note "we have implemented those that improve its overall quality". This does not necessarily mean yours.
I have the same issue. I edited one portal one week ago. I changed the portal location and the portal description at once. Four days later i got 2 emails: first was about the description (it wasn’t accepted) and second about location (implemented). Im editing portals since november 2018, i succesfully changed 20-30 portals. This is the first time when i saw these two emails and both changes weren’t actually implemented into the game. A friend of mine also noticed this problem. We think it is connected with the fact that Prime has become the only version of the game and something is wrong with portal edition in it.
I had the same experience. I asked a question on prime, but it doesn't provide the correct answer.
I received 6 portal edits but did not apply. The portal location with no users nearby to edit also did not apply.
The same cannot be changed today
I had the same situation, the mail accepted the changes But don't apply
this just happened to me a few hours ago, edit accepted, it didnt apply
I had the same issue. Many of my edits requested via Ingress Prime were accepted and not applied. I sent an email to the NIA support but they do not acknowledge the issue. This is frustrating as it takes a long time to receive responses for edits.
What does the email actually say?
I received an email that said this: "Thanks for submitting an Ingress Portal edit suggestion; our player community reviewed all Agents’ proposed edits for this Portal (including yours) and we have implemented those that improve its overall quality." In this particular case I found that my title change had been ignored, so I will need to resubmit (as the name of the village is wrong for the portal).
This is the wording that they have used for a long time when more than one player submitted edits (location, title and description) for a portal, and has never actually guaranteed that they have made the change that you suggested. The only recent change is that I have seen this one far more often when my edit has not been accepted.

Or maybe the edits were in fact accepted but they didn't take place. Niantic seems to have acknowledged this as a problem:
