You're supposed to submit the stadium as awhile not the pieces that make up the stadium. The lights are part of the stadium and wouldn't fit criteria as it's infrastructure anyway buuuuut I like when you waste your submissions so submit away!
Your "Season Tickets" allow you to stand on the middle of the 50 yard line? Really? When can you stand in the middle of the field? Because we ALL know that the POI has to be at the proper location.
Not according to the photo. Galaxy S10e has an amazing camera.... You don't have to be up close and personal to the POI. It just has to be visually seen from the portal location. The portal location you all say has to be on the poi... So the 50 yard line artwork is allowed... Because that is exactly your arguments in this thread by everyone.... Something pretty that exists in real life...
Me and @Mickster were joking about submitting something on the 50 yard line and I said the logo at the center of the field and Mr Ciock took it seriously.
Edit: worst part of the 2.5 min block is that if I try to post too soon it resets the 2,5 min again.
No different than the island i mentioned that you all disagreed and flagged me for in this thread... You can't change your arguments when you said things that exist are allowed...
Its valid and located on the 50 yard line. Even has proof of foot access and being accessed.... no different then a picture of the Eiffel Tower...
Can be reached from the lower level stands, field use, security, maintenance personnel, ravens players and coaches, tv camera men and other people on the field, etc... All allowed per your previous arguments of the Island submission being allowed even though it is not accessible all year....
Same as Renfest having portals and only having access 9 weeks out of 52....
Again a valid portal... Because it is artwork and is maintained. Has foot access clearly from the photo.... In a safe environment as it is a public place....
Is that "mural" always there? Or do they change the field for concerts? Or doesnt the logo get damaged and replaced often? That would be temporary as its not always there.
photo is fine, no different than many other athletic field photos, especially baseball fields, soccer fields, and other football fields. It shows the POI and is located on the 50yard line.
According to your comments.... And island is allowed as it exists. No different than the 50yard line. It is accessible to people that can use. 2 people using a canoe to reach an island part of the year, allows a POI at a landfill that is an island called hart miller island. Should allow the raven's artwork on the 50 yard line.
Yes, meaning its not permanent because it is easily damaged causing it to be replaced often. Same if they hold a pic event there they replace the field for the event.
Example: When the panthers host soccer games they change the logos on the field etc.
All artwork and murals are exposed to weather and wear each year requiring touchups.... it exists and is very easy to confirm.... just turn on the ravens game every home game. More than enough proof...
According to niantic athletic fields are allowed portals.... are you disagreeing with niantic. If so sounds like you have a AMA question for next month.
But it's no different than the island that is only accessible by boat. No different than a mountain top that is accessible if you go. Same for portals at the ravens game.
The same thing happened on Reddit when I suggested dog poop stations to him as a "man made object in a park" and ever since that day he's been using them as an example of things that OPR is too strict about, kek.
@TimerCIock Researching the ravens even more in 2016 they switched from turf to natural grass for the field. That means they have to replace the logo EVERY single week. Meaning its not permanent/temporary.
If you submit the actual stadium that is permanent and allowed as an athletic field. But you are submitting the logo painted on midfield which is temporary.
Access can be reach to people, doesn't matter how many as you've clearly stated on the island comments in this thread. Yes I'm aware of the 3 games we do.
It is permanent as it is always located on the 50 yardline. No different then the mona lisa getting a touch up and moved to the art work center in the museum.
Are you seriously trying to say sports fields on schools qualify because they're not singled out with K-12 like playgrounds? Anything on a K-12 school is automatically disqualified.

It can be reached by people who play.
Local man breaks into Ravens stadium frantically yelling, I need to submit the portal! Niantic will thank me!
People who play ....NFL Football? The Refs? Try again?
No different than an island. If it exists its allowed. Isn't that your argument in the thread? Do I need to tag your comments?
Oh my season tickets for me and 9 friends and family will use it just fine... not including the rest of baltimore....
Wasnt it you that said it you couldnt reach it, that it encouraged spoofing?
Also if you can't physically get to the logo in the center of the field you personally can't submit it so good luck.
Also would be considered temporary because they have to repaint it multiple times a year.
Oh is he back to submitting stadium lights again...
You can submit upto 25km away. You can be in the stands and able to take a picture to submit the submission.
they are no different then any other art outside that is exposed to weather. but stadiums maintain the artwork....
they are unique architecture and a lighting feature of the stadium... all valid.
That would be a low quality photo because you are not up close to the POI.

There's no harm to admitting you are wrong.

You can submit up to 25km away...do you think this is how far away you believe you can be to take a picture?

Doesn't it say in one of the AMA's you need to be able to get to reach out and touch the POI?
WAIT we were joking and you already submitted it 3 days ago...... WOW.....
Edit: Your photo is awful and low quality because you are too far, that is not a mural, your description is LACKING.... Where did you place it?

I think access isn't your problem here. It's a mass produced corporate logo and not a mural

Not massed produced they are hand painted on the field. Yes it is maintained all year round and in the stadium every day.
Awful generous of you to assume he'd say portal and not pokestop
Athletic fields are allowed Portals.... You can't argue what is written and allowed....
Honestly, I could argue that this is unique do to its size, location, and local importance. However, there is zero percent chance its permanent.

And do have any clue of the Ingress Scanner has to be in range to hack a portal , Or the range to interact with a Pokemon Stop or Gym?
And do you know how far from the stands is that Corperate Mass Produced Art Work ?

Maybe but if sidewalk art is ineligible I don't see how grass art would go through either.

Huge massive difference. Literally the Grass it was painted on doesnt exist the next time its painted. It is a 100% NEW copy every single time.
Also during other events they wouldnt paint it so it wouldnt be there meaning TEMPORARY.
