I suppose he is flagging me for suggesting to other people to ignore him. I found it disturbing that he was able to accuse me personally of manipulating my opr scoring. I explained that I was recovering from surgery and therefore able to have reviewed a lot. It's not my fault that I was sick.
If this is in relation to me flagging you for calling people idiot's and making baseless claims they are not doing OPR correctly. That and your response are the definition of bullying
This is what he doesn't seem to get, I think most of the people engaging with him aren't very conservative if you look at our posts around the boards. It's just that the things he wants to push through do not meet criteria or he fails to understand how to finesse a submission and won't listen to people trying to help.
Exactly. I am pretty liberal (even if I get very tired of seeing sportsballcourtfield #11 and pavilion 7 of 13 in large parks), especially when it comes to businesses and anything a bit different and interesting. I think we should have all of the legitimate portals/stops/gyms/inns/etc. I didn't get into submitting portals specifically for PoGo, but I pay close attention to its rules when deciding where on a large object I place the pin and if I knew what the HPWU rules were, I'd do the same. However, there are things that just plain make no sense from both a guidelines and an intuitive point of view and there are some pretty bright lines that I think most of us recognize that he wants us all to cross.
If he can't handle that in the months and thousands of comments he has not changed anyone's mind then he needs to re-evaluate what he's submitting. He refuses to acknowledge we were right about the drinking fountains. NianticCasey told him exactly what I had been telling him over and over again. He has the gall to demand apologies in this thread and call other people out on being off topic, where's my apology?
Yes Wizards is S2 Level 18 cells, but actually if you focus on S2 Level 18 you could miss on PoGo.
You should submit based on S2 Level 17 technically to ensure it affects all 3 games, Of course not fudging the lines but submitting correctly if you have a choice.
It's actually not exactly. I am very familiar with a rather dense urban area and was disappointed to see that some of my newer portals that are in their own L18 cells didn't show up in HPWU. Then there's another overall much less dense area with pockets of density where there are multiple HPWU objects in an L18 cell. I haven't seen a clear-cut algorithm described.
Aww, look at all you guys. Actually talking about how to get a submitted POI to show up in more than one game. It's not quite "on-topic" but it's as close to being on-topic-adjacent as I've seen since I got here.
We all knew it was coming. Many of the Ingress community at large are worried.
But it's going to be rolled out slowly, starting with countries/regions that are suffering from fewer reviewers. Think places like Brazil, again. But Niantic must actively monitor it for abuse.
I wonder if they'll release submissions/reviews for the US by region? I feel like middle America is likely most in need and would probably get attention before the coasts. Releasing in the US all at once will be pretty intense
Besides know trainers will be given access to OPR. No more is known yet, if this will be rolled out or all at once, if places that don't have access to submissions will be granted access at the same time. Whether they have undated or modified the algorithms running .
Further thing like what the avg time for reviews will be is unclear. An interesting possibility and a benefit to Niantic is that the number of people able to flag a waypoint that is incorrectly positioned or no longer meet the criteria (e.g. doesn't exist anymore) will increase 100 fold. Now if people bother to is the question
Haha... And to think that I was considering replying to him with some examples of what I was talking about, but decided against it as it seemed off-topic...

Honestly, I believe he is flagging everyone at this point. I wouldn't take offense to it. He has definitely flagged @0X00FF00.
I just wish I had a way to tell who/what was flagged. I can just see he has flagged.
What's the topic again? OPR news in pogohub
That stopped being the topic 1000+ comments ago

18 cell spacing is wizards. If you focus 18 cells you cover all 3 games as best as you can.

I've actually had waypoints in separate s18 cells that did not port into HPWU, so even going by s18 cells is wrong.
Not sure how this is on topic to Pokemon Hub's article though.

Ditto. And I know of L18 cells that have two HPWU objects. It's not at all clear cut.
Wizards doesn't port the same time as pokemon does every day.
In my cases, the portals that were in their own L18 cells before the game even launched didn't port into WU ever.
Don't know your area. So not sure. You'd have to share where your talking about.
@TimerCIock has flagged an additional comment... abuse
The irony (or is it hypocrisy?) is so rich that it's giving me a toothache.

Two more flags from @TimerCIock if I had to guess it’s me and to you

Use your new voting powers wisely, guys.
There is zero new information in that compared Last weeks announcement.
News is it is coming probably sooner than you are thinking. I bet within 2 or 3 weeks now.

The biggest difference is ... now we know they know we know.
Trying to clear out my comment window, please ignore as I can't delete.
If you scroll down where it says catagories, recent discussions etc there is an area for saved drafts and you can delete them.
Someone earlier in the thread had a similar problem and I meant to respond but I am supposed to be working 😬
Thanks

Not a whole lot is known, but it will not be all at once. "Over the coming weeks, Wayfarer will start rolling out to a subset of the player base."
Haha... And to think that I was considering replying to him with some examples of what I was talking about, but decided against it as it seemed off-topic...
Thanks!!
