I'm afraid this is off-topic. It is not discussing the future on-boarding of Pokemon or Harry Potter players into OPR (now Wayfarer). Nor is it talking about the idea that we should be submitting portals for one game but not others (ie. into Pogo but not Ingress).
As such, it is now deemed "abuse".
Perhaps if he would like to restart talking about on-boarding and POI-exclusivity again, things may go back "on track".
@NianticCasey Please confirm that a Picnic Area's next to a tree with a picnic table or a fishing spot by the shoreline with a picnic table is acceptable per guide. According to guide it states that a man-made object is required to be located by a natural environment. These environments have been confirmed in the Thread by another player to exist. @imseethru confirmed the fishing spot and shared photos. He found a poi that was submitted based on a picture here, that was found in a park the size of 39 acres. That should be valid to confirm a hidden gem submission as well. Thanks.
@NianticCasey Please confirm portals at bars and pubs are allowed. Artwork at bars and pubs are allowed. There is no restriction on these from being 40m away from PRP in them. Local bars are lesser known places to the community. They are hyper local spots. The artwork located in them is Hidden Gems. Thanks.

You complete and utter lack for understanding of the guidelines is just egregious. You spin words in a way that you see fit and completely disregard the general populations consensus. The many outweigh the one, your submissions will never make it through OPR. Your own OPR score will remain low because you simply do not agree with anyone else. The OPR system is working as intended. Those few bad apples (you) that think every single picnic table and dog poop station should be a portal are outweighed by us, the ones with common sense and reading comprehension ability. Go sit on your illegally constructed dock and contemplate you life choices.
Just so everyone is aware he is not just asking for flags but he is abusing the flag button. I have found a way to see how many times he is using the flag button. In the past hour I know at least of 7 times he has hit the flag button in the bottom corner of a comment.
Didn't say it would be easy. But when they are local hot spots for the community, they should be allowed. No one can deny they are not local hotspots for the community.... Yet a rejection was a result. They are places families even take there entire families too. Some people visiting go to ones nearby when visiting family for the first time, because they are not all over the world.

This guy literally thinks you can sub on school property if the county is ok with people visiting the school, why would he care at all about something near PRP?
Actually a generic business is defined as a snowball stand in a shed in the guide, not a popular local spot that all of the community can use.... They do not want Lemonade stands approved on PRP basically.... Mass locations is defined per AMA as acceptable for Mcdonalds/ChicFila playgrounds where the community can go and enjoy playing.... Again you are reading the criteria wrong.... People question this thread, yet you guys are proving that you are reviewing wrong.... Which is why it is still up... People's constant arguments and rejections of valid submissions, is why it is up, because Niantic is tired of dealing with constant complaints. People's narrow minded reading is why it is still up, because you won't take a step back and read the guide correctly. It is called "Bias" Voting.... Ratings can be mislead because if the community is not reading the guide properly, than it is the community's fault for why it is being reviewed wrong. Example, is little free libraries on PRP, trail markers without valid trail markers, you guys allow them..... People are creating and approving invalid submissions. This post is for identifying problems with Ingress Reviewers... From the get go, i was clear on the intent. People just feed the thread with constant arguments, proving why others need to be allowed to review.... Niantic needs to get some fresh eyes on the reviews as a result. Reviewer's are burnt out, as you guys have confirmed, with your constantly wrong opinions.... Yes my rating may be wrong, if reviewer's are reviewing wrong, than i would have a disagreement and my rating would be lower. .
Current list of rejections by everyone... Real locations in real life. REAL LOCATIONS IN REAL LIFE THAT EXIST AND MEET CRITERIA AND SHOULD BE REVIEWED FULLY....
Picnic Areas at a park.
Fishing spots at a park.
Public restaurants.... Example, Italian Ice restaurants all of the community utilize.
Park informational signs.... (Yes your park rules, park name signs, informational signs, and dog waste stations are allowed.)
Man Made Objects by a natural feature. example, piers, boats ramps, and other various items that exist at parks.
Athletic fields that are allowed that are not within 40m of PRP. (There is no limitation on schools for Athletic Fields in Wayfarer. Otherwise, they would have put it in already. Only restriction is 40m of PRP per Wayfarer.)
Local Bars.
Artwork.
Recreation and Rec Centers.
Outdoor Seating Areas at parks and apartment complexes.
Memorial Plaques. (Confirmed all in Watfarer.)
Memorial Benches. (Confirmed all in Wayfarer.)
Fixed & Permanent structures at parks.
Transmission Towers, as they can help local parks and rural areas....
Department stores.
Wizard's nests, as niantic has already decided they are valid areas in game for people to play at.....
Exactly the things that they want people at.... Because people are allowed to play at them and it helps some rural players as well. They all have different criteria that makes them acceptable and allowed per Niantic Rules. They don't want people on PRP. They want people in Public places. They want Wizards and Ingress to succeed like Pokemon. Limiting things to make them to not succeed is the problem with Ingress players not doing their jobs correctly. Which is your fault, not Niantic's.
Niantic states to specifically look at neighborhood parks, because they want people at them... It is better than on PRP and trespassing. It is better than people spoofing, because it is getting them out of the house and playing the games like they were intended....
What I suggest is learning how to review properly.... You have a lot to learn now that things have changed. Learn about your area, learn about "What is this" categories... Because as you know it has change with the release of Wayfarer.... It is a new system that allows different things than you are used too. I would suggest learning each game type and realizing the issues you are creating as a result with your current mindsets.... Stop complaining about density when Niantic specifically states they want it dense, and if they feel it is too dense, they will limit it. Ask your community what would help them.... Because you are the agents who are supposed to be helping the community learn the community. Instead of arguing with a Agent who is trying to help the community learn the community....
He actually goes off on tangents about how bad PRP is and how ingress created a huge problem with PRP. He says nothing should be submitted within 40 Meters of PRP. So I was actually just trying to show him he is a hypocrite

I can't believe I'm saying this, but in Gabriel's defense, this is still ok. The guide stresses using extra scrutiny within 40 meters of PRP, but doesn't say to reject at that range. Just, if there's a house nearby, double check.

You need to reread all your threads you literally bashed Jason for submitting something that was a Generic Business.... yet you are now saying Rita's a large CHAIN business with over 600 locations is fine? Whats the difference?
“Oh no that may or may not be exactly as many time since as I’ve have pointed out his hypocrisy in accusing everybody about veering off-topic, while simultaneously doing everything humanly plausible to veer back on-topic, while simultaneously not flagging any comments nor constantly pinging the very busy and distracted Niantic employees.”

Oh boy. I am all about density. I like microfielding and playing on foot. I want a lot of portals all over the place, including parks. I'll specifically look for interesting stuff in gaps that are 20 m away from other portals in super dense areas and make submissions that are as good as I can (most of these don't go into the other games, but that's what happens when you want density). That doesn't mean I'd ever accept (or want to field off of) dog poop stations, electrical pylons, random picnic tables (even ones close to the water), ATM machines, or other points of complete disinterest.
This is what he doesn't seem to get, I think most of the people engaging with him aren't very conservative if you look at our posts around the boards. It's just that the things he wants to push through do not meet criteria or he fails to understand how to finesse a submission and won't listen to people trying to help.
By the way everyone @TimerCIock Is still abusing the Flagging system. He has flagged 3 more comments.
I know of at least 13 times he has used the flag feature today to flag comments. Not a single comment anyone has made on this thread is flag worthy but he still is spam flagging people...

Rita's is a hyper local spot. Ice cream places get approved currently. And some are sponsors.
FWIW, Rita's is a large chain, which will make it very hard to get through.

Rita's has over 600 locations in the united states this is the definition of generic business.
There's a Rita's here in California. Definitely a generic business and should be rejected.
I’ve been to areas where McDonalds is the local hotspot, crammed with people on a Friday night. Still not going to be approved.
(And my apologies -- I replied to the wrong post, and it won't let me get rid of it.)

So, TimerCIock ...
IF some actual Niantic employee reviews this thread , and disagrees with everything that you insist is Portal Worthy? What are you going to do?
Or perhaps only disagrees with 75% ? What's your next plan of action?
You need to reread all your threads you literally bashed Jason for submitting something that was a Generic Business.... yet you are now saying Rita's a large CHAIN business with over 600 locations is fine? Whats the difference?

Within 40m of PRP doesn't matter, as long as they aren't on PRP. You should be asking if they are allowed on school property, which they are not.
Yeah if I get in trouble and he's still allowed to spew nonsense then this isn't the board for me /Kanye shrug
He can flag all he wants, they have to accept it. You will get a notification warning if they accept it.
