I think he's making panoramic photos and using them as his supporting photo. At least that's what he did on the one for the bar outdoor "murals" that had all of the visible license plates. I feel like I've seen that for another submission, too.
@TimerCIock If you aren't doing it already, I'd strongly recommend making actual 360 photospheres using the Google Street View app and uploading them to Google Maps. I've had a lot of success doing that for that kind of indoor submissions (even submissions that have been rejected on other grounds haven't gotten the "location not found" reason).
360 pan views for the supporting photo is allowed. It shows the conditions, as photospheres don't always register in google maps.... Especially if there are other photospheres around. Nothing wrong with how I did the support back up.
If you measure it to the house above the bar with the pool in the backyard is bet it was under 20m.
I just don't like when he lies, I don't actually believe these should be rejected for being too close to PRP. I did ask for clarification on that rule so hopefully it gets answered
Oh I agree, but he makes a fuss about anything under 40m so I am using his logic against him. This should be approved, but he refuses to make it a decent sub so not our problem.
Oh look a bluring can burely **** something, how dare people not approve it. Not like you would have commented that in your description or taken a supporting photo of the plaque or really I would have done give get a. The POI is the plaque, that picture or a better one is the supporting image
How do you add a support photo and extra separate stuff from a flagpole submission that was done in redacted. You are wrong. It was allowed per guide. And can be confirmed.
Oh look a bluring can burely **** something, how dare people not approve it. Not like you would have commented that in your description or taken a supporting photo of the plaque or really I would have done it the opposite. The plague should be the POI and that pic should be a supporting pic (maybe better angle)
@NianticCasey@forummoden If my account is going to be flagged for posting a comment of COMMENTS he has made himself please let me at least discuss it with someone. I posted a comment of him lying and most of the comments posted were OF him lying. He continually lies and harasses players on this forum and I get flagged for calling him out on it? He has CONFIRMED he purchased an account and yet I am getting flagged?
We have been told in the AMAs to reject things not related to the description of the POI. That thing you wrote would be visible in game. How is that teaching the community about the community? Resubmit the plaque of the flagpole and you will have a better chance of getting that through. It doesn't matter about redacted a limitations, it's a bad sub.
Yeah, a bunch of the sillier comments I've made here have been getting flagged ans upping my warn status as well.
Like, timerciock clearly has a higher warn status than any of us, so it's not like the staff ins't doing anything about them, But it's still frustrating that someone that talks about making school property into portals and spreading misinformation about portal criteria is allowed to be around and we have to be Prim and Proper about them.
To be extremely clear, in case anybody reading this gets confused, portals within 40 m of PRP are perfectly acceptable and NOT automatic rejections. Niantic has only said that extra scrutiny should be applied to these submissions.

I feel like I have won something :)

Flagpoles - Ineligible, as they are mass-produced objects. Only with accompanying plaque or info board detailing cultural or historical significance.
None of your flagpole submissions are elligible. Niantic answered one of your questions!
Yea I am pretty sure thats what he is doing. I think its not even a real Pano but the output from a real 360 making it very difficult to look at.
@NianticCasey Flag this comment for abuse.... The scale is incorrect. By @AgentB0ss....
See attached. well over 50 meters. 10 more meters than needed.
Your posting it from the opposite end of the PRP....
I think you hurt his feelings! He wants you flagged for abuse for proving him wrong.
Look how he's trying to measure. Simple math, indeed
You might want to re-read the new guide. They are acceptable in the purposely confusing criteria.... You are wrong sir... Please apologize.

Measure to the backyard behind it.
Both so from the edge of the property to the FAR edge of the Pub are under 40 Meters. That being said I doubt the picture is exactly on the FAR edge.
See above :)
That is from the new guide. Copy and pasted exactly. They are only acceptable if they have a plaque or info board
I think you owe @Kliffington an apology.
If you zoom in. It was allowed. To take a accurate photo of scale you can't be up close and personal.
You're referencing the reviewers in the description holy **** you are bad at this. That's not what that is for.
Yes but you need to provide the details of how its historically or culturally relevant as well per the help GUIDE.

Nope because the plague that you circled would have been the POI
