ugh, there's so many people posting the same threads over and over again about wayfarer bugs, I forgot about that part of forums. The Worst.

  • You do realize opr is coming to pokemon and was announced.

  • GearGliderGearGlider ✭✭✭✭✭

Doens't change the fact you're a bad submitter and reviewer.

  • An one more time... Public accessible.... Sports fields need to have public accessibility...

    @AgentB0ss

You do realize, that so long as he keeps resubmitting and resubmitting and resubmitting those invalid portals, the repeated OPR rejections will at least keeps him from submitting anything else equally inane for those two weeks. Win?

  • Do they have "Paragraphs" in you part of the Fantasy World.?

    You didn't answer my question.

My AMA question that has been posted was about SAFE PEDESTRIAN ACCESS. Not how far away to can move the Portal from the POI. It was not about a park in anyway. Notice I commented about USA vs The Rest of the World .

Do NOT try and twist my question and the response to fit into your incorrect ideas.

  • Does change the fact, that the Bias in Ingress will now change moving forward.... The community will help the community learn the community....

I don't need sidewalks now when sports fields are allowed to be approved if they are publicly accessible.... Say it one more time... Sports fields are allowed if publicly accessible...

I'd be worried about continued submissions on school grounds Chris

  • You need to read the updated Criteria on the OPR. It definitely doesn't say that

Playgrounds are definetly not allowed if they are on School grounds. That's where that Playground is.

    End of discussion.

  • That playground has long been rejected calm yourself man. I said playgrounds on schools are a no go yesterday. But...... sports fields are allowed.

Let’s do this again, no where does it say anything on school grounds is acceptable.

  • Yes, as long as the Sports Fields are not on School Grounds. Anything on school grounds are not allowed. I'm glad you finally agree with us.

  • No. I disagree with you. Sports fields are allowed everywhere they are publicly accessible. I have said that since last night nonstop and you are refusing to listen. They clearly wrote publicly accessible and no restriction on schools. They are allowed.

  • AgentB0ssAgentB0ss ✭✭✭✭✭

Then what specifically is not allowed on school grounds?

  • You all should read this. This is exactly what your doing to my submissions instead of letting them be reviewed properly.

  • Art work, sculptures, murals, playgrounds, children hopscotch fields, school building themselves.

Sports fields are allowed when publicity accessible.

  • @NianticCasey will you let them know publicly accessible is allowed for sports fields. Thanks. Dual use agreement stands. Can you open the north boundary road appeal, so I can re-appeal it. Thanks.

I'd like to add, TimerClock who has also admitted to posting on this forum, WHILE DRIVING, hangs out around school grounds and wants Waypoints on school grounds.

This is the perfect formula for him to run over someone, and Niantic will get a ton of bad PR, especially if people see TimerClock posting on this forum about doing these very things while NIA was alerted and did nothing.

  • It's probably @NianticKN in disguise.

That same username that allows portals on prp and schools to remain.

At this point I can only assume Niantic forgot this forum exists, or actually agrees with TimerCIock.

I agree with you basically entirely in concept. The only place we know that at least @RedSoloCup posts or reads is the AMA. The best analogy I can make for this thread is that we're all on a bus that has a bomb on it and we're heading for a cliff at full speed, but Superman is too busy flirting with Lois Lane at the water cooler to answer our cries for help.

Niantic's complete refusal to respond to this stuff and flat out say "NO, NEVER EVER EVER SUBMIT SOMETHING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS REGARDLESS OF LOCAL LAWS" makes me think they really don't care about it, and are find to leave these posts up to possibly mislead others.

This is the most damning thing. A single Niantic employee, even a member of the cleaning crew, could come in here and just flat out say "No candidates on school property ever. School property is the area surrounding a school" and be done with the whole thing. But that hasn't happened, and the thread isn't closed. We're on page 50 at this point and arguing about Baltimore's dual use agreement like it even remotely matters.

I honestly don't even care nearly as much as it might seem about getting Timer banned. But it doesn't take an academic to realize that, no matter how much time they invest into developing a test, they will never get a better profile of the exact thing they want to root out of POI reviewing than this list of comments.

If they very carefully want to navigate the foundations of guideline clarifications to not individually target him, that's perfectly fine. But, through inaction and a lack of transparency, they've invited a much darker cloud to loom overhead.

Oh, I completely forgot. Wasn't the entire forum tweaked slightly because every post of his was marked as either spam or abuse, and now we have disagree?

At the very least, someone has read his posts. And their answer was to redesign the forum slightly.

I wouldn't say just because there is a lack of response that he is correct. That's a really dangerous impression to have. They know the Community is self-policing. That's the Ingress way. They have an official way of asking questions and deviating every time someone is insane (and they can see the community refuting it) would be incredibly unmanageable and a way for bad faith actors like Chris to skirt the rules and get special attention.
