Actually I saw you posting in here for an hour after the AMA went live. AMA went live at 10:31 PM EST and your last post last night was 11:34 PM EST. You had various posts from 10:30 to 11:30 PM last night a full hour of the hour and a half the AMA thread was open.
I was out with friends from after work to when i submitted on here. I was tired and a little drunk. I tried but as soon as I clicked post it was closed seconds before. Wasn't my fault redsolocup was late by a day... crazy he posted so late for a thread that is a major important discussions for the game at a time when most people are sleeping anyways. Being open for a short time makes no sense. Should be open for a full 24 hours so all timezones can chime in.
Actually, the Wiki is mis-using the world landfill and its clarified later in the same page, highlighted for you are the key words for easy reading comprehension.
It literally would be feasible to be open for 24 hours, it was open in for an hour and a half and still had 200 messages posted. A lot of the US missed it but if they had been awake or around it would have been thousands of questions. Thats too much for anyone to possibly handle.
Open instagram and search #hartmillerisland and see there are over 1,000 posts with that tag alone, and well a lot of people don't use instagram. Looks like a pretty popular location..
Pretty crazy that for such an inaccessible place people sure seem to use it very often...
You'll be wrong because you dont understand what safe pedestrian access is.
And like @AgentB0ss said you were here posting when the AMA was still open. My comment in this post asking why you were doing that happened pretty shortly after the AMA closed. Looks like your all bluff, too afraid of the answers you'll receive from Niantic
Niantic has a team that can handle plenty of questions especially if they are going to be doing one AMA every other month. 24 hours should be given to the world to allow questions that are important to game play and making players happy.....
I was already a sleep by the time you posted. Bluff, wouldn't be on here every day arguing with people for days because they didn't care to acknowledge that a portal can be a few feet away, when it was written as such.
If Red had posted on the 7th as previously stated, I would have had plenty of submissions. Because red chose to do it on a Pokemon Event it was missed not much I can say or do. I did say I had a raid event last night to attend. Escorted 35 people around to various different raids. I think that is being a community leader and helping people learn their community..... Hmmm not many ingress players will say they help players learn how to play legit and really mean it.... But good thing someone mentioned that in the forums that it is idiotic that all 3 games force people to compete for time in each at the same time....
Missing the AMA, happens. Questions were posted in the pre-ama group. Someone could of easily shared questions for anyone that wasn't present... You did for others.
Excuses, "Pokemon" event that ended 3 and a half hours before the AMA was posted. Always something. I lead the same "Pokemon" event in my community we had over 80 trainers at the first 5 raids, I then went to dinner, made it home and reviewed 200 OPR candidates, then posted on the AMA. Yet you make excuses, when you were clearly online posting.
I mentioned most of your questions needed work and fine tuning, that didnt happen so I didnt feel comfortable associating my name with your questions.
Someone specifically asked if anyone could so yes I did post a question for @0X00FF00
I am going to save this one..... It will now be a permanent addition every time I post from now on.... Because you think it is me versus you. Yet, it is you versus me. I am always the one with facts and you guys are always there saying. barely.... Then you say whats the history or the uniqueness. No one cares... Common things are allowed... Review things thoroughly.... If its a unknown and you don't have a rating to base it on, rate it properly guide tells you to rate those a 3 star for should be....
Written and 5 star rated as acceptable if a few feet away from the portal..... (Not barely acceptable, that is acceptable.)
Pedestrian access is required, no pedestrian access no portal. (Not barely acceptable. If it is not there it doesn't exist.)
Park fixed structures and things. Guide say only 1 thing is needed to be met for a full review to be completed. reviewers add way more criteria that is not required to submissions. (Not barely acceptable. If you meet 1 criteria, it is to be reviewed...,)
Reviewers man-made objects are allowed at natural features. (Acceptable) reviewers decide man-made objects like boat ramps and piers are not made objects and not poi's? (Not barely acceptable, as your not following the rules.)
Parks are allowed. (Reviewers say okay acceptable.) Show a Dual use agreement that has been established for 60+ years by the local government. (Barely acceptable by the rules.) (Not acceptable by reviewers, because they don't know what to do, but won't rate properly as a 3 star and instead do a 1 star rejection. Or submit bogus abuse reports if they are approved.)
Flags and Flagpoles, most players that are parents enjoy taking children too, to explain history.... (Reviewers say not acceptable. But ask where is the history in flags, how is it a unique flag . Ignores the fact that it has already met one requirement and should be allowed.) (Yet the intent for portals is for agents to help the community learn the community, no way the community can use flags to teach history to children....)
Shall I continue......
This is exactly the point that I do bring up. How 2 people can read the guide different and have different opinions.
I raided too, then walked home and fell asleep with a cat. I woke up without the cat, and the AMA hadn't yet been opened, and then fell asleep proper. Kitty woke me up again later, and the AMAs were open, and @AgentB0ss had kindly already posted my question for me by proxy, I'm grateful. There is of course no guarantee that Mr Krug will answer ALL the questions, he skips redundant ones or ones that have already had clearly provided answers.
I managed to ask the second-last question juuuuust before the AMA was closed.
It's an international forum, and if it had been left open overnight (in my time zone) the 199 comments in the thread would easily have turned into an unmanageable 1000+. We were rooting for y'all, because when Krug obtains that precious "more clarity" from our gamelords NIA OPS, we all benefit.
Wait. How many ingress players complained that pokemon players shouldnt get opr? Their main concerns was multiaccounting and spoofing. Yet they say it's not cool to remove a spoofing location? Irony.
I would agree with you if there was some massive debate around the community, like pools. Pools are a highly debated topic, there are people on both sides. It seems though its you versus the world. So there is a vastly different situation where its your comprehension of something versus everyone elses comprehension.
Post a poll and see how people vote on your debated items.
Main concern isnt spoofing/multi account. Are those a concern? Sure absolutely. Main concern is the integrity of the POI Database, what should pass versus what shouldnt pass.
Remember that Change.Org request it reached a whopping 3.2k supporters after 2 weeks, thats actually kind of sad. However, a post about a problem on an island on Silph Road garnered 6k upvotes in under 10 hours. So not even all the Pokemon Go community is behind OPR for Pokemon Go.
At this point I know nothing I say will break through that to that pea he calls a brain. However, if I can at least continue to post valid facts that refute is concepts/ideas if someone does come find this thread they will be able to read and comprehend don't submit things @TimerCIock (Chris) says are good to go. Or don't purposely falsify locations and make them on sidewalks only.
We have had more debates on the forums about valid submissions and opinions of what written more than any other topic on the forums. This forum is one exactly doing that. This forum was started to prove OPR reviewers don't follow rules. Reason it's still open, is you guys keep confirming it. Same with you thinking I keep doing it too. (Ironically its proving why the thread is correct and opr should be given to pogo players at the same time.)
I've proved boatramps and piers existed so did you. Others say it's not. Guide says they are if they are manmade objects. Wait that's right the ghost of christmas past made boatramps and piers.....
Other fixed common things at parks should be allowed to be a full review... because they are allowed to be because they met a criteria being at parks. They are fixed structures. They are hyper local, hidden gems, landmarks, educational/informational signs, and community gathering places.... As such should be reviewed accordingly. Not a 1 star rejection because that's the opposite of what your are supposed to do. Literally says to do a full review if it meets only 1 criteria.

But but pokestops I cant reach!
I will just have to visit and report it. Not a problem.
And I fell a sleep after 2 days of being up. Missed it by a few minutes.

@TimerCIock Now let’s discuss this island again.
per the information page on the island it used to be 2 islands now connected by materials from dredging the bay, it was never a landfill.
Also a photo from a couple of weeks ago on the island. Yup looks to me only a couple people ever visits.
Edit: Looks like a place I would love to relax, spin a stop or 2 and have a couple drinks. AKA must be unsafe for pedestrians.
How can you visit? I thought these portals are inaccessible? Are you suggesting that getting there is feasible for a person?
Not easily. And per opr review if it's not easily accessible it can be removed.
Yes it was a landfill that connected islands together....

Yes contaminated harbor muk from the harbor was used to fill it... I said that originally....

@AgentB0ss a blast from the past in today's rss:

Brilliant!!!!
Niantic has a team that can handle plenty of questions especially if they are going to be doing one AMA every other month. 24 hours should be given to the world to allow questions that are important to game play and making players happy.....
It isn't used daily. It is used for a couple things throughout the year.

Those portals are mainly used by people who spoof to it.
Not creating portals because spoofers might use them is the worst excuse yet.
Interesting @Mickster the other thread got closed.

I do not even, umm, barely have hope that this tactic will work either.

@AgentB0ss I see that the other "containment" thread has been marked closed now.
Hopefully we can maintain the infection to a single outlet now.

Fixed that for you
Man they don't have these kind of problems on the Japanese forum.
