Its not creating bias, youve proven you don't understand what bias means.... bias would be me rejecting something because I know its a PoGo sub, or approving something because I know its from my same state,,,, me rejecting an electrical tower because it doesnt fit the criteria doesnt mean its bias....
You opinion versus others is bias. You opinion says no because it's not pretty. Others would say hey it does meet criteria and has a history just like everything else made in the world.
I don't vote based on pretty or not.... I vote based on criteria. I on whether something should or should not be a portal....
A well used baseball field isnt pretty but should be a portal... a trail marker usually very worn out but should be a portal. a Grille at a park usually used by people but shouldnt be a portal...
People where only partly mad about paying for Anomilies, it was more that the money wasn't going to the POC people they do most of the work.
I'm sorry but I have replied to your statements and comments with a proper reply and not just repeating irrelevant rhetoric that doesn't even match to the attached quote
Pls try and answer this:
What benefit is it to Niantic to risk opening OPR up to trainers? And
Is that benefit worth the risk of magnifying the trash in the database 100x or more? Just so relays take say 1 week over 3mths
That is your opinion because as you said you are more an agent than a trainer. Players go to parks in groups. Having a spot to enjoy lunch is what should be a portal.... Different of play styles. Ingress is less team playing than pokemon go is.
@TimerCIock I have to apologize, clearly u/LocalInstigator isnt you... They are just copying what you write on here and posting it on Reddit. Looks like you have a ****.... same arguments as you, but not you! WEIRD Coincidence.

Ingress players had a learning curve they needed to be great submitters. Pokemon would too as it is something knew. But if you look at the way Pokemon players have had to use the camera feature for things already without submissions, I bet they would be fine on submissions. Yes some may have bad votes, but there is a system in place already that if rejected and needing to be resubmit they will. But with Pokemon Go not having OPR, it isn't helping Pokemon Players learn what is good and bad submissions. They should be allowed to learn what is good by reviewing and seeing why they need to learn.
Allowing Pokemon players to have it, is something they earned already. Especially if they are over lvl 40, because more players have played since day one of pokemon which doesn't sound like a long time, but it is.
I have always maintained that I am more a Trainer than an Agent.... I played ingress to 12 only, actually your purchased account as a couple million more AP than I have... Once I hit 12 on June 1st I havent fielded once, however I have reviewed a lot of portals to help a lot of communities gain new portals...
Interestingly enough that account actually has a history of posting besides the last 10 days, unlike your new account u/LocalInstigator. Ever since u/LocalInstigator there hasnt been a post from either of your other 2 accounts on reddit. Their messages sound oddly like the arguments you've made on here...
Ingress players always sound the same. "No what's the history on it, where's the culture, how is it unique, is it a safe location." No way others can sound similar... players want the rules followed yet, you guys admittedly don't.
I'm half tempted to write up the historical importance of the modern sewage and sanitation systems we have and how historically and culturally important they are, and why they deserve to be portals. Just so I can submit one called "Punxsutawney's Poop Chute"

If you and others are getting hundreds to thousands agreements, it has dropped. Because not many are doing opr then.
That is also creating the opposite of what opr was intended for. Too many bias same votes are occuring.

Looked at Petition 524 signs in 3days....It's a rocketship
To be fair a sign NOT in favour would have proven more interesting to compare.

Hmm. I bet it gets more petitions signed today then any other day.

Ironically someone else tried sharing the same post as instigator... But that wasn't me either...

And here I was wondering where this thread went this weekend. Guess it's just a 9-5 thing.
9 to 5. We go pass that some times. All depends. Gave the weekend a break to allow others the time to share since I'm a bully. Lol.
@TimerCIock You sure you don't have a long lost brother?
Ingress players always sound the same. "No what's the history on it, where's the culture, how is it unique, is it a safe location." No way others can sound similar... players want the rules followed yet, you guys admittedly don't.
I follow every rule.... name a rule I don't follow.
And 24 of those signatures are NOT TimerCIock's
We follow the Niantic Rules, We follow the Niantic interpretation of those rules.
Not the Baltimore (or Indianapolis) Agent who has his own opinions. Like Dog Poop Stations.
I'm half tempted to write up the historical importance of the modern sewage and sanitation systems we have and how historically and culturally important they are, and why they deserve to be portals. Just so I can submit one called "Punxsutawney's Poop Chute"
Actually there was someone on reddit a couple months ago who insisted that sewage stations were historically relevant.
https://www.reddit.com/r/IngressOPR/comments/brd5hy/taking_culture_for_granted/.
Everything has history. Some you guys refuse to admit on.
Where do you follow the niantic rules, when you yourself have said niantic rules and guides are misleading.
But remember dog waste stations at parks ate totally relevant because dog owners gather at them, and they need a portal/stop/inn
And you didn't quote me on that? Or did you take it out of context to fit your ideas?
