Re: Anomaly ticketing
I'm really disappointed by this new announcement, I've been to anomalies, supported anomalies offsite as intel and been poc and part of the orga team for various anomalies and mission days now and I've been happy to do it.
I'm all for Niantic making money, charging for badges, swag or events. But the lack of any free participation in an event they lean on the community to organise, promote and run is just a bit too much for me.
Only other thing I want to add is that having a flat fee worldwide could be reconsidered, $15 isn't much to some people but when you're running these events in countries that have much lower average salaries than in the US you're putting off local players that could have been recruited and interested in the game by adding a charge that may be more than just a cinema ticket to them.

No, no, you can participate. You just don't get any credit for it.
Exactly, the fee for Latín América should be Much lower.
And run the risk of having wildcats/spoofers sabotaging an anomaly. Third faction?
They're always there as it stands, along with the alt-users.
Without a ticket your actions may not be counted, which means you can participate in anything that affects the portals around you, but hack challenge, artifacts are out.
