Passphrase question cut off after only first few words
Having done my first banner mission in Prime (yes I am trying to adapt with Redacted being laid to rest), I wanted to try my latest banner submission for the Field Test this weekend. I was joined by another player who said that this bug was new. The passphrase displays only the first few words of the question. This was the case for every passphrase question, and on 2 separate handsets (Android), running Prime 2.31.2-18b3245d. Unfortunately I cannot share a screenshot of the error...
Hoping that there is a quick resolution?🤔

These screenshots illustrate the problem. Same situation in old and new version.
I could also see this problem... It works correctly if passphrase text is short (2 lines or so), but if much longer its cut off... After standing under portal and trying to gather from the plaque what the answer could be, I opened redacted and there the text was in its fullness.
Yeah, that's really stupid. You can't answer a question because the question is cut off in the middle of the sentence.
Good thing I hadn't uninstalled Redacted when I was doing a mission/mosaic yesterday. @NianticOfficial @RedSoloCup
I hope this bug will be fixed ASAP - otherwise some missions will be unplayable next week.
It's also sad for the owner of the missions: Finding good questions for a banner is time consuming. Of course just asking for the number of the mission is easier, but for a player it's much more fun and educating with good questions.
I have currently three banners online with individual questions.
the newest one where you have to search for the first 18 paragraphs of the human rights Charta.
A banner with 60 individual questions on Dr House and one with 48 individual questions on Freddie Mercury.
It’s fun and entertaining to create these questions, but now agents cannot read them and some banners are unplayable, please fix his ASAP, especially as many agents are going to travel for the upcoming anomalies,
This had a serious impact on multiple players this weekend.
Two of the missions at the wonderful La Jolla mission day were at the campus of the San Diego campus of the University of California. One featured the spectacular distinctive Geisel Library building. Several players decided to do the banner mosaic featuring the library while they were on campus.
Partway through the banner they got stuck on a pass phrase. "The old name of the Geisel Library is" (possibly paraphrase slightly, I don't have a screen shot.)
There were two old names listed on Wikipedia. Neither one worked. The university website on the library history listed a slight variant. It didn't work. Leaving off the word "the", adding it on, words in reverse order, nothing worked. They asked for help. We reached out to the retired mission creator, to local visitor chats, to active players who had done the banner recently. The best response was "I don't remember the pass phrases being at all difficult ". The only comment on IngressMosaik just said the pass phrases were fun. No joy.
An hour later someone showed up with Redacted. For them it was easy, because they saw the whole question:
"The old name of the Geisel Library is University Library. True or False?"
Waiting an hour to get the answer to a pass phrase may not sound like much, but losing an hour out of an Ingress travel day can mean losing the time to travel to another spot and do another banner, losing an hour out of a Mission Day can mean losing the opportunity to hang out in the chaos and capture a hundred or more portals, the most important resource in Ingress is a player's time. If this had happened in October players would have had the unappealing prospect of abandoning the mission and either replacing it with something random as a filler in the mosaic or abandoning the banner entirely, leaving their profile with a blotchy stain instead of a lovely fun travel souvenir.
Imagine a bug at a Pokemon Go Fest that keeps players from advancing their quest chain for an hour. This is a bigger relative impact.
This is a serious issue for many players enjoyment of the exploration aspect of Ingress. Please give it the attention it deserves.
I've been given a screen shot now. The question as displayed in Prime was "The Geisel Library used to be known" - so obviously truncated, but nobody guessed just how badly.
Reportedly fixed in 2.32.2
Thanks!
