Not really. By unclustering them on one side you make it less likely to accidentally tap one of the buttons in the field that you don't really use in the field. The three you don't use in the field are still reachable across the screen with your right thumb.
I'd really love to see a dedicated "Left Handed" mode at some point, that just made small UX tweaks / mirroring of layouts. It seems needed for nice "RTL" language layouts anyway. It's a long term goal though, as long as stuff on the top right is non critical / large enough to be reached.

That runs contrary to Ninatic's design goal of make the scanner usable with only one hand.

Wow, that's close to what I suggested except I would have kept score, Nominations, and Missions on the right.
Same issue, UI good for right-handed people, is very poor for left-handed players
There is a "fix" coming in the next update
