Rejected Banner Mission

I'm looking for some community feedback here because I have no idea why this keeps getting rejected. The rejection email, to me, makes no sense. My local community agrees, does not see a valid reason for this being rejected. I'm tired of going through the trouble of making edits and it still being denied with no clear reason.

It's been submitted 3 times and I've made adjustments to the Title and Description each time. The path of the missions goes through the main streets of downtown Holland, MI, a heavily Dutch influenced city.

Mission Title: Double Dutch

Mission description: "Two things that are indelibly Dutch: Vermeer & Delftware. Recall Holland's Dutch roots and enjoy this Delftware version of “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Johannes Vermeer. #1 starts at 8th & Columbia!"

Rejection email: Thanks for submitting Double Dutch 1/18. Unfortunately, we were not able to accept your Mission. Your Mission may have one or more of the following issues:

  • A lack of a clear and informative description and/or title
  • Mission Image, description, and/or title are unrelated to the Waypoints chosen

    Where's the image from?

    Did you submit it with special characters in the text, such as the ampersand etc, that might be tripping something?

    Is the banner relevant to the portals used within the banner?

    If image is ok, try use interesting places in the descriptions, like where do u start and where does it end? usually that has helped me get through banners.. Just writing "18 piece mosaic through x city" is usually not enough and will get banner rejected...

    I suggest rewriting the badges - exactly as they are - and resubmitting them as brand new. This takes them out of the « been rejected before » bin & allows new eyes to review. I’ve gotten several passes this way that were rejected for no discernable reason.

    @mortuus my post shows my mission image, title, and description used. My description does explain where the mission starts and ties the title to the image

    @ClutterCutter that's my next course of action, but it takes so damn long to rewrite the entire banner. So frustrating.

    i think it doesnt really connect the description to the waypoints really, the reviewers may think, why should anyone do this mission if they dont know the purpose? so try redo it its too vague i think...


    try change title and descriptions..

    Maybe use same portals from another missions.

    Maybe copyright.

    Maybe drunk Niantic.

    Maybe Lg Tv community and stuff.

    Try to put a passcode in the beggining of every medal and not only hacks.

    Dont know is like Schrodinger cat but with banners
