Nice to have is somthing cool in profile point or somthing cool Niantic make. We can send gift to friends and more. I know Reddit have karma. We earn somthing if we post or people like.

    Earned flair based on in game badges would be nice.

    I'd rock a Zenn The MindController flair.


    also i think archetypes certainly already have a minor footprint on this forum with the avatars. wouldnt mind seeing more of that integrated. someone who tends to inspire controversial discussion,.. or loooooong threads could rock the Catalyst badge.

    lurkers who press on insightful and like way more than they post can rock the listener badge.

    folks who leverage the verb "to rock" in their posts can rock the calm the fug down badge

    etc. etc.

    I'd prefer the exact opposite. We're here because we like a game called Ingress. Turning forums into games with "karma" and "likes" always ends up with off-topic spam and moronic attempts as to who can be the most ironic or funny for fake internet points. I'd rather the forum be for the kind of communication we can't do ingame, and the competition entirely remain in the field. *mutters in old man noises*
