Ingress is the only game fron Niantic I really enjoy. Pokemon GO was fun when it first came out, but the lack of complexity in gameplay had me bored of it after a month or so of playing it. Haven't really played the Harry Potter game enough to give it proper judgement yet, but the fact I have barely played it goes to show it is not engaging enough for me.
Eu gosto muito, mas eu acho que no começo havia muito mais "emocion", hoje em dia é fácil agregar itens e ap, não ter mais nenhuma dificuldade no gameplay diário
Absolutely. I've been at it for more than four years, now. Got inspired to play by a former colleague of mine at Micro Center. It's quite relaxing for me, and it helps me get out into the open. It's a bit more methodical than PoGo or WU, IMO (although I play those as well).
The new Prime UI takes some getting used to, but it has gotten a LOT better since its introduction. The frame rate of the glyphing UI is insanely smooth, now.
As far as gameplay goes, I've steered away from combat against my opponents and focused more on building and exploring. That I find the most rewarding.
I like Ingress a lot. It's fun to search for portal nominations in less filled out areas, fun to field and fight, and really fun to look at already existing portals in places you haven't been before.
I agree with you here, unfortunately a label and nostalgia can only do so much for a game and in retaining my own interest in it. I rather play an actual Pokemon game rather than Pokemon GO.
Yeah that was the impression HP Wizards United gave me. The UI was quite nice and inviting, but the core mechanics were less appealing than even Pokemon GO. It was basically a simplified version of Glyph Hacking in Ingress. At least in Pokemon GO I could spice things up by spinning and curving my pokeball throws for added exp when capturing Pokemon, but even that got boring in time. There are other 'Gotcha' games I find more visually appealing and would rather play. Ingress, though, is a competitive virtual reality geotagging capture the flag game, and the constant competition of wanting to cast BAFs, as well as acquire higher tier and unique medals has me always wanting to come back.
As you say, daily tasks being added to Ingress would only help to further augment and enhance the gameplay experience for me.

True, poke sells well because it has the Pokémon label on it, not because it offers good gameplay.
You aren't losing anything. HP wizards United is literally pokemon go with other skin theme.
There is a skill tree, but the battles are just "capture the enemy pokemon in time". And instead of throwing a ball you had to draw it.
I'm currently just doing the daily tasks. This is the best feature and something that should be in ingress for years ago.

I like the way you kinda choose your own gameplay in Ingress. There aren't many games that allow you such thing.
Agreed, its quite enjoyable and competitive.
