Make minimum size of portals bigger
I've just talked to some people who have trouble seeing portals in Prime. It's not about brightness, it's about size. Make the minimum size of portals (neutral, L1) bigger. This will greatly increase visibility for them.

this has been a complaint forever times, the neutral and even low lvl portals are hard too see in sunlight yes :(
Attached is a comparison of the same view in prime and redacted.
The lighting dynamics does help though it does not fully address this specific problem.
Its hard if not sometimes impossible to see neutral or portals without shields. I cant imagine what it would be like for someone with less than perfect vision. As an analog ask your designers to go out in strong sunlight with a couple of pairs of scratched up sunglasses then capture some unclaimed portals good luck with that.
Many people have the map zoomed out as far a possible all the time, so neutral portals appear as specks of white.
Making the minimum portal size bigger would be a massive improvement, I would also imagine its a fairly trivial change.
Asking the developers to play Ingress under a variety of real world conditions would be an excellent way to improve the usability.
It's not the same view, though. When fully Zoomed out in prime, you can see much further than when fully Zoomed out in Redacted. Since after the first few weeks of getting used to the new app, I haven't had any problems to spot neutral or low level portals on the map when fully Zoomed out.
What makes me wonder is that on some screenshots of prime, the roads are full white while on all the live prime scanners I have seen, the roads are grey which makes the white neutral portals stick out more. Can anyone explain that difference?
I have SO many problems on Prime when I am in new cities If I don't know where clusters are in advance I don't know where to redirect myself. Usually my phone is mounted on the dashboard and I want to redirect myself to clusters so I can play. All Prime Does is encourage cargress
