AUTO remove when same device have 2 Ingress accounts. Now it is extreme easy for agents to use same device and have lots of accouts for cheating. Agents can use lots of new cheating accounts on computer or other device for spoofing or hack more items.
Too many false positives with that criteria, I'd figure. I believe it's only one account per a person, not necessarily a device in the ToS.
Way too many legit reasons to have multiple Google accounts on the same device (e.g. multiple country accounts and to track store purchases for family members) for that to ever work.
I have multiple Google accounts on my phone for personal reasons unrelated to ingress. I'm glad I used my secondary email and not my main one when I started this game just because of all the emails etc. Now a long time ago, somehow my device created a second account under my other, email address, my main one. I've never used it. It's just sitting there. I've tried to have Nia delete it, but the email reply said they can't because I never picked an agent name. I don't use it and don't want it, but it is there and there is apparently nothing I can do about it.
To curb multiaccounts yes it would be nice to have one account to one device but there are agents who use their account across multiple devices, for example different device different phone carrier for signal issues/acquisitions and there are those who share their devices with children.
There are also families that can't afford multiple devices/cell plans, and have to share. Niantic used to point to these cases themselves.
i have 2 smarthphones (work/personal)... and i use both for play depending in where i am and which i carry and i have LEND other people to use my personal device for play
i dont want to be banned for dumb stu...d stuff, so no thanks
