What do you feel is the most entertaining aspect of the game?

Some players are social butterflies whilst others are lone wolves. Some like smashing, some like building.

For me, I'm a lone wolf who likes to experiment with fan fielding. It's allowed me to gain lots of AP and achieve platinum mind controller within a short period of time.

Nowadays, though, since getting the majority of my badges platinum or onyx, I've decided to take a break and go casual, keeping my sojourner up at 1,215 days and counting.

So, what do you guys like to do?

I'm a lone wolf you likes to build beautiful multilayered fields over parks and downtown section of a city or town. I also like exploring to find new locations to submit as portals, which has lead me to discovering several historical plaques that I would otherwise overlooked.

  • I live in a rural area, so for me it's the travel and discovery that I find the most entertaining about Ingress. I enjoy seeing new places and faces and the game encourages me to explore. It's fun to plan little road trips with my sister and find some interesting portals. That means more to me than the AP and badges.

  • . Multilayered tiny fields

    . Onix medals

    . Gliph Hack

I miss hiding guardians and looking for other people's

  • Long links, glyph hacking, visiting portals on hard to reach locations.

Exploring and doing banners, hands down. Go to new places where you've never been before and do a banner. Banners are most of the time the best way to explore a new city as you most of the time will visit the cities highlights during it. My girlfriend and me are now both at 5,640 missions completed and counting. We have the exact identical missions completed from first to last. Give it another year and I will be hitting double onyx explorer.

I'll save time by saying what I don't like about Ingress: opposing faction & Niantic (redundant 😂).

  • I like doing banners in new cities to explore new places.

And I like all sorts of events. Anomalies, Mission Days, First Saturdays, the small and big get-togethers of my faction.

I especially like anomalies, since everyone is different. I see it as sort of a sports competition where I am part of my favourite sportsteam and a hardcore fanclub member at the same time.

When I started, I was in an area that had a really strong and tight community. We had fun discussing, planning and executing ops. As soon as a new agent appeared, we went out of our way to welcome them and show them the ins and outs of the game. The area I now live is the opposite with lone wolfs playing. I'm more about fielding but I'm still struggling to find my way in playing.

Used to be slow walks in a park, low conversations in the moon light, hiding from others trying to listen to private conversations.

Lately, it's been watching Niantic frantically try to **** the game while insisting it stay on life support.

What other game can you be a farmer, a hacker, a super spy, an explorer, and an elite athlete all in a single afternoon?

I love banners that fully explore a city, especially ones I can walk or bike. Exploration is my favorite part of the game. The PvP is my least favorite, but I love rebuilding after people blow up my fields.

  • I like catching unique portals.

I'm a lone wolf more so because no one plays besides me in my town. I am social with the near by cities groups and have done a couple of anomaly's but for the most part I'm a lone wolf do my own thing. But like connecting with people in Comms
