A Random Guess on the Rule of the New Event: Aurora: Unique Glyph Hack
Basic rule: accumulate maximum glyph hack point achieved in unique portals
Agents need to glyph hack unique portals to accumulate the points counted towards the badge. A single portal may provide 1/2/4/8/15 glyph points per hack. Only the maximum glyph hack points achieved on a portal is counted. The maximum glyph hack points on different portals are summed up to determine the badge level.
For example, an agent may glyph hack a L3 portal for the first time and get 4 points. When this portal is leveled up to L8 and he glyph hacks again, he can get 11 extra points, getting 15 points in total. Future glyph hack on this portal won't be useful for this event, since 15 points is already the maximum glyph hack point a single hack can give. To get more points, this agent needs to glyph hack other portals.

ok, then i hope gold is 150 and looks cool, like greenmint
If the mechanics they had in place when the counter was accidentally added are final, then it looky like each glyph hack will only get you one point. I glyphed a L6 portal and only got one point.
Wow, then it sounds like the rule is just a glyph hack version of Myriad UPH Challenge.
i hope not because it will be another gold medal i wont get
Someone yesterday glyph hacked the same portals and accumulated 4 points. So it's not about unique portals, it could be about unique glyph sequences. If it's the latter I'd like that a lot. You would have to find P1-8 portals to try and get all unique glyph sequences.
I suspect it's the sequence that has to be unique as well. Hacked three P8 portals yesterday, got three points. All sequences were the same. I suspected the sequence would have to be unique, so I was hoping on two of the same sequences in a row, but no cigar.
