Sooo I finally can post images, here ya go NIA screenshots of wacky Prime bugs. One where I can't put item or take items out of a Capsule due to the button being locked. The second can't recharge a poral I'm standing near due to missing key ? Both required a re-start.

Oh should I also mention that Prime locks up so frequently that I now habitually close and open Prime every 15 minutes or so when doing mission banners that require a lot of walking or push-bike riding. Why because I want to wait around for Prime to load on my terms not when I least expect it.

Today Ingress decided to go into some kind of infinite loop after deploying on a portal. Reboot required. Oddly GPS was stuck in same spot for 5 minutes no matter where I walked to.

So it's almost near the end of November. And Prime seems to still be the horrible buggy mess was when I first posted this. The second bug was really funny I could just keep adding busters to my queue and it would just keep adding them and adding them. I got bored at about 50 and decided to restart Prime.

Now to add insult to injury Niantic have now upped the ante and have :-

    1. Doubled the store price for Frackers.
    2. With little to no warning charged for the recent Anomoly event badge. Then allowed paid ticket holders to give away codes. Then allowed people to sign up and still compete with no badge. Then offered a refund.
    3. Followed up the above with at least one Anomoly site where agents couldn't even play.
    4. Allow PoGo players to add new assets to the portal network.
    5. Added lots of new items to the store, most of which are very expensive for what you actually pay for.
    6. Just pulled the popular NL1331L van event.

So is it just me, or do you (Niantic) don't care about Ingress anymore, and are trying to work out how to let the game die ?

This game only survives because of the community. Mission Days, First Saturdays, Anomolies. These only work because of the unpaid man-hours put in by dedicated people. And with some events hundreds of dollars if not more is spent organizing and running these events.

And of course there is their bread-and-butter the portal network. As it is now it wouldn't exist without said agents. And even now people are putting in lots of unpaid man-hours to keep that maintained. Of course allowing PoGo players to do so might be a bad move.

Really Mr Hanke, with all the company and IP acquisitions you can't afford to put on a couple of extra developers to fix your obvious buggy and broken game client ? And maybe hire a couple my PR people to show you actually still care about the game.

Look, I understand how the world works nothing is free. But somethings like keeping the goodwill of the people who spend lot of unpaid time helping you keep your game assets viable is worth a bit of your time and money ?

Of course I don't think anyone within Niantic will ever read this, but at least I feel a little bit better having this rant !
