How often do you use the "Navigate" feature in Ingress Redacted?

If I want to view a specific portal to find out how many likes it has if it's relevant for PoGo, but the portal is out of range and I don't have a key, I just navigate through other portals to reach it.

I hope this will be implemented in Prime.

    I tired it when I first started playing, but found it to be utterly useless. When I think of navigate, I think of giving directions from where I am currently located to where the portal is. But instead, we got a "hot or cold" form of navigation which is not useful at all.

    Navigate often is my mark where I left my car when I'm in new city and making mission banners:)

    Also I use it to reach portals I have no keys for just like Shulk2017.

    Not often, but I'd hate to lose it.

    Since it's just an absolute pointer to the destination it's not all that useful. I only hit it accidentally now and then.

    When I visit new areas, solo, for a day of ingress, I use it to mark the train station, so I know which way is 'home'
