    What a ugly badge!

The biggest reason is large borders and poor design, they was lazy to work on it.

When I first saw her I thought it was a medal made by the Pokémon Go team. LOL It looks like a children's cartoon.

I was expecting something similar to the medal's anomaly concept, it's more classic and real.

also the colors doesnt fit well with the older onyx/plat medals... not sure why they make so weird coolors..

  • The medal design is definitely a big let down. I mean they didn't even bother to go with the medal colors (Bronze > Silver > Gold) instead it's (light bronze > blue-silver > pink-violet..? pufff.. 🙅‍♂️

You'd think they'd at least give us some option to make these silly badges onyx....but nooooo....

    I like it.

  • Pish tosh thundercracker. We don't no sticking badges. A touch is a touch. Just ask child protection.

  • Another bias event in favor of large populated areas - how? are smaller communities going to get 750 uniques without spending bags of dosh travelling significant distances outside their area to achieve the top medal. DUH!, at least they could do is pro-rata it by region. Another lame-duck ill thought out event.

The link challenge was easier outside cities as longer links are easier to achieve when portals are further away.

But this game never can be ‘fair’ in the sense of everyone having the same chance if it is based on portals with different density.

I’m semi- rural myself. Small town, enough portals for bronze but travel was needed to achieve gold.

  • I wish there were more tiers. I have been traveling outside my usual play area to get more unique hacks and have pushed over 1000. I like that since it's a limited time event it is getting me out and exploring more. It is certainly rough for rural only players, though.
