Where is the meeting with Akira and Jarvis?
Dear agents,
I am writing to you to express my concerns about the outcome of CTRL anomaly, the ENL won, but we got the Resistance reward instead, see :
At first (its written above, on CTRL rules), we can read about the 2 different outcomes of the present series.
And all we got was an intel leak that should have never taken place. I am not against of this twist, but I'd rather see why made Akira to cooperate with Devra in the first place and the reason behind this twist. Why are we fighting anomalies if our promised reward is not given? I want an ex planation.
On top of that, the goals of Discoverie has not yet been disclosed but we can see they included the RES goal in the narrative, without knowing anything about Roland Jarvis.
Any feedback or new ideas are always well regarded, but I feel really scammed at the moment.

This is how I see it. Prior to the anomaly results, Akira was of the opinion that Devra is the right person to help deal with Machina, hence the conversation, but there's obviously 2 potential outcomes after that conversation.
Akira/Devra conversation -> RES victory -> Akira/Devra continue as normal.
Akira/Devra conversation -> ENL victory -> Akira realises that ENL may be the better choice to help deal with Machina, so they will seek out Jarvis instead.
The meetup might still be yet to be seen. It's possible the Devra/Akira meetup was always going happen, but a future, critical juncture is what was decided by the end of Ctrl.
It was decided before the series end already. We are still missing information about the other meetings that Jarvis had in these sagas, so it makes me feel that the narrative is tailored according to what Niantic wants even if the outcome is not the one desired by them.
Sorry about this, but I feel really pesimist toward this approach without taking into account what they promised first.
I think the story is already written by Niantic. We are only making lesser changes via anomalies. The outcome will be decided by Nia, anyway.
Why are you fighting then if someone else is going to impose its own criteria?
The story has been very minimal since the Tessellation. My personal thought process since then has been: don't overthink the story because you're most likely thinking about the story more than Niantic has been doing. That usually has helped.
The universe has been reseted twice since then. Think of the "story" becoming more streamlined (even this happened in Osiris with Prime's launch). We know there's 13 researchers. Jarvis and ADA are ultimates. The difference here is machina is unknown XM entity affecting both factions. Jarvis sees it being a benefit for the Enlightened. We're probably not going to know anything from ADA until the end where there's some plot twist. (The EOS protocol was probably a means to ingress into Rubicon and that led to Epiphany Night)
I wouldn't worry too much about the story...and I'm saying that as someone interested into it. The game has always progressed regardless of the narrative.
8 days later and we still have missing the promised intel. @NianticBrian @NianticThia
Probably won't know until the first weekend of the Discoverie or the kinetic capsule challenge.
The box with information about the shapers also fell into the hands of the organizers and was stuck there forever. You're not the only one who feels deceived. Our entire faction was cruelly deceived. By the way, I wouldn’t be surprised if the organizers of this anomaly were also given information about the meeting between Jarvis and Akira. and you and I, friend, are simple agents who are not supposed to know anything. Well, from the point of view of the self-proclaimed elite of our faction.
They never got the information in the first place.
