Recursion not completing

I reached level 16 last night and started the 4 hour timer. This morning I tapped on the button to recurse. It gave me the recursion message, then the faction selection where I chose resistance, and then the floating blue head with the resistance message. If I do nothing at this point, it just stays on this screen (I have left it 5 minutes at one point). If I tap the screen, it start the recursion again, and repeats over and over. I tried closing and reopening the game, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and powering my phone off and on again. I am using a Samsung S20 FE if that makes any difference. I am locked out of the game until this is resolved. Thanks

@SolakBlubmb would it be possible for you to share a screen recording or video of what you're seeing? Also, are you running Ingress 2.122.2 or 2.121.1? Thank you.
