Kinetic Capsules Dont Value The Walking Done

When it comes to some of the recipes, it really doesn't feel as if the walking required is factored into it.

The ADA/JARVIS ones seem fair, same with the VR mods, the Hypercube is actually OP and should be nerfed imo, but when it comes to converting weapons, eg 45 X5+ for 20 X7, or resonators 45R5+ for 20 R7, just making that trade without walking 8km seems fairer.

Plus the amount gained is awfully low. Something like 50 X6 for 40 X7 or 50 R5 for 40 R6 seems more equitable. Maybe a limit of 3 of the same recipe would be required.

Thoughts? Do you use the existing X7 recipe?

I pretty much only use the Hypercube recipe, although I have occasionally flipped a flipcard when I had a surplus of one and a shortage of the other, plus a surplus of kcaps. The others all feel like a huge waste-- why would I use a kcap for gear that I can hack very quickly?

  • I use the six hackable kinetic capsules as off-inventory storage for 6x20 XMP7 or 6x40 R1, depending on the situation.

I too use the Hypercube recipe a fair amount.

However, the Sbul recipe is handy to convert the generally useless Link Amps to Sbul.

Also the recipes for converting ADA to Jarvis (and vice versa).

If I've had too many R8, I sometime use them to convert to x50 R1, especially if out capping for the day.

@MJ78 I know some people like SBULs but they didn't make the list because they're junk mods for me. For low-level resos I can hack 50 of them in no time flat so I can't imagine wasting a kcap cycle on them.

I have been using the L6 to L8 programs when I'm at inventory limit. It seems to benefit getting my resos out and have another set ready to grab.
