[Store] You can buy the Machina Patch medal multiple times, only getting it once

As the event started I bought the medal in the store, but it didn't immediately appear on my profile. Happens sometimes, so I closed my scanner and did some other stuff. A few minutes ago, I started the scanner again and noticed the red dot for the store. The Machina Patch medal was still on sale for me, so I thought the first purchase didn't went through and bought it again.
Only afterwards I noticed other people reporting that there's apparently no limit on how many times you can get the medal, and I think basically burned 2500 CMU. I could still buy the medal a third time.
