[bug] Mesh Scans not being received for VPS

Device: Galaxy S21 Ultra Exynos 2100
OS: Android 13
Issue:
Mesh scan data is not being received on the VPS server.
Only Point Cloud Scans are received on the VPS server
This is, an example.
First scan was a mesh scan
Second scan was a point cloud
Only 1 scan of 2 were received.
Existing mesh scans on other portals have also disappeared

To add to this, both the Scout Controller and Scout counters incremented, stating that the scans were successful
Have just updated to app. 1.120.1
And can confirm only point cloud scans are being received on the VPS server,

Are you sure your scans are high quality.....
Indeed they are high quality mesh scans
Have replicated the issue on numerous other portals
How do you know they are high quality :)
4/6 scans I did yesterday showed up,
1 was a **** scan to start with owing to location and the 6th I can't tell due to already having multiple scans....
Either way, we need a large sample size....
My theory is wayfarer may have truncated lower quality scans...
The entire object has a good mesh.
If anything, the point clouds are of a lower detail
I like how the wayfare app actually gives feedback on the scans.... how did you find out how good your missing scans were??

The scans don't show up on the Wayfarer app immediately. They have to go through a process to make sure they meet minimum requirements. Sometimes it happens quickly. But this whole system has processes that seem to stop working sometimes, until someone at Niantic notices and kicks it.
Like activating. You might get your activate/failed email in 4 hours. It might be on the map in another 4 hours. Or, each step might take days.
Scans get processed immediately as shown with point cloud scans.
Mesh scans on the other hand go nowhere when they're uploaded
Mine have all shown pretty quickly as above..
It's a pity there isn't more feedback...

Still an ongoing issue with app 2.122.2
@NianticBrian issue has now been resolved with app version 2.123.1
