Would you scan a neutral portal to convert it to Machina?

We have rare battle beacons and frackers if enough scans are submitted for a portal in a cycle. What do you think about a neutral portal being converted to a Machina portal after a certain number of scans are submitted in a cycle?

Oh, that would be fun. I can see random red portals popping up in new and in unexpected places.
No No No No No Machina needs to be nerfed, not helped.
I would switch to team red if i could. Red is the best that happend to this game. But yeah i would do some more scans.

From the start Machina portals have been so fragile its actually hard not to eliminate an entire spawn at once unless you are careful.
Machina can no longer cross links so can now be link fenced.
Spread rate and new infections in my area have been a trickle.
What more can be done to make it ineffective?
Great for your area. Other areas are drowning in Machina. I go and wipe out a few hundred one day, other faction makes the portal grey on drive by, its red again a day later. no buneo
You know that you can slap one reso on them so red cant retake for at least 7 days?
