Apex does not affect portal scan uploads during 2sDay double AP window

When the first 2sDay window started, I thought it would be a good idea to also use an Apex and upload my pending portal scans. I was expecting to get 2000 AP per scan but I only received 1000 AP, just double the normal amount of 500 AP. I verified that Apex do, indeed, provide additional bonuses for other game activities (normal hack yielded 400 AP). I took a screen recording but it is too large to upload here.

Other way round, Apex worked as intended, the 2sDay double AP window is the one that didn't give the 2x AP. Niantic is aware of that and is working on a fix in the future.
