Faction change at recursion.

Hello there. I have just recursed from l16 ENL. However I didn't get to choose the faction. The recursion went straight to ENL again. I wanted to change to resistance. Can I get my faction changed by support? It would take a while to get to l16 again.


EDIT:

I specifically recursed for the option of faction change. I just wanted to level to 16 again as resistance agent, while keeping my AP, medals and progress. I am aware of the one time faction change option through a ticket, however this would reset all my stats, so it is not an option. Pls help.

    When you open a ticket with support, they can revert the Recursion and put you back to Level 16, which will give you another oppertunity to recurse and change faction. I think just explaining that the FC didn't work during the Recursion is enough.

    I had the same issue tonight. Confirmed the recursion and was taken straight to level 1. No option to change factions. Hoping some AP might trigger it I uploaded some saved portal scans and advanced a level. Still no luck. I submitted a ticket in app to support explaining such. Hopefully they get back to me.

    @SapphireKat and I recursed tonight and it didn't play the animation thing at all and didn't ask us to choose faction. Luckily we had no plans to switch this time.

    We understand that you did not get the option to choose the Faction after Recursion.

    As per the rules, we will not be changing the Faction manually if you have failed to choose the Faction after Recursing. As one time exception, we'll manually change the Faction. Please confirm the Faction which you wish to change. we will try to do the needful on your account.

    just poped l1 same faction directly.



    guess for me it's a feature as i won't chagne faction ever 🤣

    Hi, I'm on an IOS device (iphone 14 pro on 16.6 ios version and ingress version 2.121.1-88d71357)) and recursed tonight and had no issues, got the faction choice fine.

    Me & Few locals in my area recursed, none of us got the option to keep or change factions.

    Please fix that please!!!
