Black screen after accepting new terms and conditions

After accepting the new terms and conditions today (may 8 2023) the screen remains black. Game sound can be heard. I cleared the game cache, I reinstalled the game. No luck, still black screen.

Same here. Started after I installed the forced update. Tried starting the game from multiple devices, not working on any. Starting the game with a newly created account works fine.

I have that sometimes, even had it before the new update, probably after installing OxygenOS (Android) 13 on my OnePlus Nord CE 2.
People are going to lose their streaks just because Niantic can’t make a update that does not break the game…
i think they don`t care about it :-(

Yeah i know…they will just say ”sorry for the problem, it is fixed now” and this will be in like a week because they don’t take they fanbase seriously sadly….i love ingress but will stop paying for CORE and medals if this don’t gets fixed within hours
I have try a other gmail adress…works, but access denied. My adress…..no chance. Really ****

Multiple power cycles, multiple app uninstallation and re-installations. Pretty sure I lost daily hack streak and sojourner streak because I usually play in the evening (EDT / UTC-4) and the update was pushed before my usually playing time. Can’t sign in to verify though…

I had the same issue, however NIA have been able to resolve it.
Managed to keep my Sojourner streak fortunately.
Fingers crossed you all do too, hopefully Support will get the issue resolved for you all ASAP.
How did the solve it!? They only tell me to wait while they are looking in to it…23 hours now…

I have no clue what they actually did, but I was told to try logging back in (20something hours after the issues has started) and it has been fixed.
I clearly lost my streaks by now.
Let's hope it gets fixed until our portals/fields run out..
I was in contact with Niantic support via email. They asked me to try to sign in on another device.
OP here. Problem was solved for me aswell.
Altough its sad to see my sojourner fade away, we have to admit the devs reacted fast and they do a great job! It's not that easy finding the source of a problem, no matter if client side or server side. Especially in an app with millions of users around the globe.

Me too. Lost Sojourner at 353 days, no reaction from Niantic. Ticket is open.

Miałem wczoraj ten sam problem, konto stworzone przez Facebooka, może przez to, dziś wszystko działa.
Prosiłem support o odłączenie FB od konta i pozostawienie maila na którym się logowałem zawsze. Po wejściu w ustawienia nie ma połączenia z Facebookiem więc może to zrobili a może ja wcześniej odłączyłem i stąd problemy z zalogowaniem.
Najważniejsze że jest już ok.
Is there now a official solution? The problem is….nobody wants to make a official statement, it is not discussed.
