Machina killed the game for me, so absolutely agree. It was exciting at first, ooh what's that, wonder what will happen now? Andddddd then what happend was that Machina destroyed the possibility to play casual. You have to be VERY dedicated to Ingress to benefit from Machina. I guess that's not a problem for some though (including Niantic). Too bad for those of us who can't really play now though.
