[Feature Request][Intel Map] Support Sign-in with Apple in Intel Map

Ingress itself has been supporting Sign in with Apple for years, but not Intel Map. iOS users registered using their Apple ID has to bind a Google or Facebook account in order to use Intel Map.
Since Ingress Community, Wayfarer and all other websites support Sign in with Apple, could you please support Sign in with Apple in Intel Map?

I don’t see any reason why Niantic can not offer authorization via Apple for the Intel map.
It does seem a bit silly that after creating an ingress account through the scanner with Apple authorization, that you then have to add another authorization system to access the Intel map.
It is a long outstanding issue.
And has to do with Apple wanting to take a 30% cut of every purchase with a passcode.
As the items are free, Niantic would be giving a tonne of money to Apple from free items.
Another good reason to not do business with Apple!
This is about OpenID with Apple login, it should be the same standards as a Google and Facebook login.
How is intel map relevant to passcodes??
you can't use passcodes on apples devices scanners you have to use the intell

you log on intell via apple, you can reedem things where you logged via apple id , apple want a fee.
no apple login no fee.
But isn't 30% of 0€ still 0€?
If that's really the issue, hide passcode entry from Apple Id,
apple users not being to reedem any code would be a bigger problem
IIRC @NianticBrian uses iPhone. Brian, can you shed any light into this issue?
I thought the passcode entry is disabled on iOS through the intel map anyways? Login through Apple wouldn't change that restriction.
My apple account has been connected to a google account, but I still can't use the google account to log in to intel map.
